I don't know how many of you have been keeping up on the development of UT4, but there's this thread on the official forum that went into a lengthy discussion on updating the Skaarj for the game.

Aww, if you don't know about this one, then it means you haven't played through Legacy! Oh, but you must play that large SP campaign at least once! Besides you'll find other custom "monsters" in there, too!

I've tried 7 different weaponspacks on the thing with nearly no luck!

I finally decided to try my hand at making some pawns using Excessive Unreal 2's codebase, classes and features. I've got to say, it's been great being able to throw stuff like this together and not worry (too much) about UnrealScript's quirks:
The explosion (and ensuing gas cloud) are harmful, and kill players/pawns nearby quickly. I've got a few ideas left for other pawns too...

There's a monster taken out of Serious Sam to UT (used to have it but now I can't find it) with a similar ability:
It's called a marsh hopper. Basically chases you down and explodes with toxic gas on contact.
Yours looks more fun! Does it only chase and explode, or does it do meleee too?
