Oh it looks like everyone is voting down the map with the most solid gameplay.
To be honest mixing Unreal maps with RTNPUE edition maps is a pretty terrible idea.

Chizra's the level that made me fall in love with Unreal, and without it there may never have been an UnrealSP.Org. I'm going to attempt to save it!

Sometimes I wonder if you're playing the right game. I like my Unreal maps to deliver more than just solid gameplay; I want to be engaged and interested in the place that I'm in.

No issue there.
Just want to state that various RTNP UE maps don't have anything to do with the original devteams' visions or work. Some are heavily changed to be their own things and some are 100% new (which are sort of intermissions), either due to the original versions of the beta maps being too unfinished or to connect levels to each other in a more sensible matter.

Rajigar Mine has horrible malfunctioning elevators as well as Nyleve Falls, and this is what makes the majority of new comers in Unreal want to leave. I got several remarks about it, so yeah... I want to at least eliminate Nyleve Falls or Rajigar Mine.

You mean the wonky lava escape elevators? Besides those the rest worked fine.
In comparison to Dig's ones, the Nyleve's elevator to the bottom area is awful and it's hard to avoid.

Visually a completely lackluster map, mixes Skaarj and Mercenary combat and requires you to kill two titans in order to break the ice. Much worse than Velora Pass.

Agreed. The titans are just an ammo sink and it's surprisingly tedious for how short it is. The fighter flyby was cool, but other than that... :tdown:

Glacena doesn't mix Mercenaries and Skaarj together in SP.
Skaarj appear on Easy and Hard, Mercenaries on Medium and Unreal; on the other hand, Gala's Peak has Skaarj on Easy only, so that's sort of a continuity error (though seeing in Hard-difficulty Glacena a single Skaarj Lord around I can imagine the Skaarj in Gala being a weak resistance).
Also killing the Hard/Unreal-only Stone Titan, the first one you see, is not required. That's if you're able to avoid him by exploiting his AI on something he can barely walk over.

So other than the unique theme, a rare difficulty-specific gimmick and Watcher.umx, it's overall a better map than Velora Pass. A moot point because everything is better than Velora Pass, anyway.

For all their weaknesses, Gala's Peak and Watcher of the Skies have too unique a theme to eliminate early. I'm a sucker for snowy landscapes, and they're the only maps that deliver.

Watcher and Gala have a very rushed, thrown-together feel to them and are definitely the weakest of Nivlek's maps... but I'm not ready to hurt them just yet, and I don't think anything should go out before MotherShip Basement. Even if I loved the rest of the MotherShip (which I don't, as is well-documented by now), that first map would still be totally pointless!
