Nice... If they would ever produce a true singleplayer sequel to Unreal (I can dream right?) they could ask you guys for the music. It's such a big part of the unreal experience... Nowadays most games have such forgetful soundtracks. It's a shame BfNP was never to be

Even as I had accss to the repository before I wasn't able to sample much of the BfNP music. From my own eyes as witness though, BfNP was so well-written and designed it had set the best atmosphere for an unofficial official Unreal sequel to date. I could almost say the whole setup has the feel of, let's say, a Bioware or Bethesda game with an immersive, living universe. Every sight I saw had conceptual grandness as an essential ingredient. I can only assume the music follows the same touch of grandness.
I'll be checking these out later when I get back from work.
Now the major question a lot of people were probably waiting for:
Can it these be used on non-RD/BfNP projects?
Sure, let me know if you want to use one. I have the tracker files for the older songs still, so you can even save some space and don't have to go the mp3 route

Just had time to listen through this, and there's some really cool stuff here
Braking Power is probably my favourite, the whooshy noises gave me chills.

Saddens me . Awesome soundtrack...but it reminds me of "what could have been". Yet...there is always hope. Perhaps one day BFNP will emerge again. And yeah, thanks again to the modding community for everything you put in.

Battle for Na Pali won't come back; all the content made for it was recycled for use in Residual Decay.
Made me sad too, but it's the sorry truth

Even Residual Decay coming out seems unlikely now.

I've been meaning to listen to this properly for the whole year and read the commentary. Finally got around to it.
Can't stop listening to Tibani XD over and over and over again. For some strange reason it makes me think of the triamid ruins and the brief desert part of the firestorm trailer. Basically I'm thinking "wide open spaces" and it feels pretty epic, fairly distinct character etc. The other tracks are all good and fun too.
Reading the commentary I find it hilarious how Hellscrag is all full of praise for the music while Frieza seems to be crapping all over his own work Seriously man these tracks are sweet!

The quote, "An artist is never pleased with his own work" comes to mind
You have to be self critical though, or you would never progress, never have that push to aim higher and get better - which is definitely shown by Frieza in this soundtrack.
