Status: In progress.

Rising City, a city terrorised by a disease that kills all the living.. and brings them back to life.
Here's a project I've been dieing to make for a long time, and I finally got a server running so why not get this one of the floor aswell. It's still work in progress, but the features will be:
  • Leveling system (ofcourse), with XP to unlock gear and every Level allows you to upgrade a stat such as speed, health and accuracy.
  • A shop to buy items/weapons from, such as chainsaws, shotguns, flamethrowers, grenade launchers, nightvision etc.
  • Multiple kinds of zombies/enemies to fight against.
  • Missions like carrying supplies back to camp.
  • More to come!

LOOKING FOR: Modeler, or someone who can teach me how to import/export meshes. No expert needed, just need to know how to make some basic animations since there is no firstperson view. Need melee weapons and some other things, UT minigun/Chainsaw.

As long as possible, the plan for now is to get it up whenever I am online, which is between 9:00-21:30 GMT+1. Later I might think about 24/7.

Your thinking about playing on the sever 24 hours? That is the stupidest thing I ever heard of. You need sleep. And I don't know anyone who would play a game from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am. (The usual time people don't do anything exept sleep.)
As for the UT Chainsaw/Minigun thing. There is UTWeapons which has weapons from ut. : http://www.oldunreal.com/mods/weapons/UTWeapons.zip
Also there is the botpack for 227. Now, I would post a link to it but I'm not sure if I am allowed to post it or post the files on a site and ect.

24 hours loool, I meant having the server running 24/7, not playing, hell no :D
I only need those few meshes so using the whole package sounds like a waste of download size for the server.

227 botpack falls under "it's a mod" status for unreal games. it's totally legal under the eula.

Looks nice but that flashlight should probably illuminate the environment a little more, seems very very dark atm without the nightvision activated

Approving brit approves, although the version I have is broken under 227i_20 (UnrealShare.Translocator issues). Is there a more recent version casey?

This REALLY reminds of two games; Resident Evil and Grand Theft Auto 1 and 2. (Topdown GTA if you know what I mean.)

A) I fished out and installed Unreal Gold just to get a shot at playing this cool mod. So, kinda sad that I couldn't connect to the server at the moment :/
B) I would definitely be able to make and contribute some maps for this mod if wanted/need be.

Anyway, stuff is still being worked on continuously, recently we've added a safehouse with NPCs (shopkeepers for now) where you will be able to buy weapons 'n other goods and accept mission. You can already buy weapons, so that's 1 thing working :D Some new weapons such as Pulsecannon, Healgun. Also a nice 12 gauge pump-action shotgun from CSS imported by Gizzy. Making up ideas for new zombies now. Will be doing another vid soon.
