Hmmm, ok then. I felt they were refreshingly different than the usual Nali we see all the time (I mean really, do all Nali look like twins?) The only thing I'm not sure about are the sounds the BetaNali make. Is everyone ok with the BetaNali sounds, or should I change it to regular Nali sounds?

I'd be interested to hear the beta nali sounds again.

Eww no to Beta Nali. Unlike the other cut beta skins, these ones are just totally different and could be hardly made canon to the storyline.

Excellent job, great screenies. The reason I picked this one is because.. it looks (to me.. IMHO) like the x blocks are hanging in those windows. You might want to darken the area where they are attached to the walls. The light shines behind it, so it should create a shadow in front of the spots where the legs of the x are attached to the wall. (do I make sense?.. feels like my brain isn't working today).

They are attached to the walls, yes. Well, good luck trying to fix the lighting thing, even if honestly I'd rather keep it at it is and don't bother again with the BSP of Nexus.

I came up with a good compromise. Since I'm tired of looking at the same Nali skins over and over again, I decided to make a Hybrid between the Beta Nali skin and the regular Nali skin. The Hybrid has a face that is mostly the same as the original Nali, but with the darker skin and clothes of the beta Nali. The result is this:
What do you think, UB?

This is good for me. But the voices shouldn't be changed.
Aside that it's all fine.

Yeah, I planned to use the regular Nali voices. I wasn't sure I liked the beta Nali voices in the first place.

Awesome stuff. I liked the beta Nali sounds but I do think they'd be out of place here since it wouldn't make much sense to have a bunch of Nalis use a different 'language' completely when you probably meet a few Nali that talk with the standard Nali language. Using those sounds in a different style location like a savana would be cool to highlight that the Nali aren't all the same across the planet (much like us)

Quick question: is there a way to make the Nali greet the player when you approach? I don't want the Nali to go anywhere or show the player a secret. I just want the Nali to say his greeting when he first sees the player. I thought I remember seeing this before. Am I wrong?
Thanks. I'll consider releasing them separately after I'm finished with the pack.

Hmm... Patrol Point where the Nali is located, with PatrolAnim being a greeting? Wouldn't work for freely wandering Nali.

If you wanted him to say something, make him do pretty much what Sana said, but also have him trigger a non-touchable translator event and have what he says in there. You can also make him have the nali "oh, wow, a player!" sound or whatever it's called play at that point. I know 7B does this with Haute, and he says multiple things, each time done with a timer triggering the translator event and the sound.

If I set up a patrolpoint under the Nali's orders, he makes the "follow" sound, and waves his arms for me to approach him first. I don't want him to do that. I only want him to play the greeting sound. You know, the one that goes "Habouji!" or whatever it is.
The lazy way would be to set up a trigger that simply plays the sound, but the Nali wouldn't have any sort of reaction. It would be nice if the Nali at least played some sort of animation without asking me to follow him first.
