Knowing Epic everything will run smooth with 60FPS in HD on mid-high end PC. All UEngine versions were very optimized...
Madness, as you know, is like gravity…all it takes is a little push!

Pity that the vid is such a low quality.
Anyway, nice one. But I wonder what was real time computed and precomputed. I mean physics, animations and stuff.

Aw dude. Awesome stuff there. I'm kinda at a loss for words partially because it's extremely awesome looking and partially because I'm tired, but seriously, that's just badass. Keep it up. I can see you making more of that kind of stuff later on for sure.

UDK?
More like a race car unassembled in the driveway, but it was free.
UDK is very disapointing in that they have no pawns.
Kismet might be ok, but it takes over things you could do before with one actor one tag, or event. Also, no script editor, nothing to view the actor class with a simple right click just so you can teach yourself about the class.Nope, only an archtype tab no script editor at hand for a quik view in the editor, highly burdensome to cut paste use notepad blah blah blah.
All this locking files up, another huge letdown, not allowed to use UT3 stuff, another let down.No delete tab, nope you must use keyboard or the menu.does everyone consider "cut" as delete now, wtf.
So far the BEST thing for mappers IS-was UT with oldskool installed, or maybe now the other 227 thing.
I learned a lot in UDK over the weekend, but the end goal can be done in UT, far more practical.
Oh well, all good things must come to an end, no more nali cities and scounging through user made maps, done, gone forever.
I will tinker around, but unreal enegine has become useless for the masses, then after learning, all but one half of a player would ever show up at the server.

UDK is not supposed to have pawns
UDK is not supposed to allow UNREAL stuff
It's supposed to let you create NEW games with the UE3 technology. Seriously, deal with it instead of wasting your time making the same retarded complaints all over again.
This thread is for updates and help, not for people crying over pointless crap that were supposed to not exist from day ONE; if you want to do that, create a new thread.
If you want to make something Unreal, use the editors of the Unreal games.

I think I am a bit tired of your ridicule, it should have pawns, it should have complete use of any asset, and you keep it up.I have plenty of time vested in all things unreal to form and post an opinion of the way I say it should be to be good for ALL the community.
Secondly, your assesment and defense of UT3 is foolish, I can't even find the game in like a list of the top 200 games of all time.
Also, the thread title does not depict any such thing you describe, YOU stop YOUR complaining about me. !
