Here's a whole bunch of ancient old maps I never finished that I decided to put up on the internet to permanently scar my dignity / reputation. Some of them are better than others, and some actually still look pretty cool, albeit are horribly unoptimized (Sentinel looks the best but is over 60,000 nodes and not even close to complete ).
Anyway check out this stuff and feel free to post your own! There's 16 maps in here, all at varying degrees of incompleteness and all from different eras of my mapping career. Be glad 90% of this never even got close to release :p
WTF Arena is actually kinda fun to dick around in, and DM-AngerArena was a gimmick / hilarious map I made as a stress relief thing. You just blow stuff up. Everything else sucks ass and a lot of stuff is missing custom MyLevel'd assets (like CTF-CitySweep, dear god that map sucks). There was also a better version of DM-GooPile made for some Beyond Unreal pack with night time lighting that made it look better; I can't seem to locate that map, though, but I think I still have it somewhere.
If you have any specific questions, ask away and I'll explain what was going on!
I also have some old RTNP maps I started (two of which I completed, school projects way back in middle school, around the time Attacked was released). I can upload those too if anyone wants, but they only work in RTNP and, obviously, have no combat of any sort. One was a geothermal volcano base thing designed to discuss geothermal energy, but mostly just an excuse for me to play with UED for school, and the other was some oldschool "you went back in time to some town in the 1800s" deal.

I'll comment on these maps, I've just played them all. --May contain spoilers-- They definitely feel unfinished, one of the DM maps wasn't even rebuilt and many were missing lighting, but they seemed sort of decent. the most complete thing I found was 'Treasurehunt', It was small but had a start an end and kind of a story. Some of areas (Sentinel, Hellharbor's boat) were very grand. Certain maps reminded me of other maps a lot, one time I got deja vu. I liked the burning wrecked city, I think it was in nwgroundbase1[1]. Oh, and the dried up Sacred Passage was cool, what happened to it to make it like that??

I also found some old revisions of another RTNP map I started ages ago which has some combat, a little storage shed on a lake, and a reeeeeeally ugly cannon that shits out grenades!
These should load in Unreal Gold for sure; not sure about other versions. There's not much to them though so I think they will be ok.

It's a modified version of Boundary.umx from RTNP that loops the ambient songsection. Even if you don't care about the maps, this is nice to have

It is illegal to abandon a map with so much work done. Of course, without planning ahead, you'll most probably end up with dissatisfying layout. On a plus side, maps with messy layout require more exploration.
EDIT: map1.unr requires RainC package.
