DEAD
Features:
-Entertaining Online RPG FPS mixture

-Worlds to explore with your friends
-Lots of enemies
-Lots of guns
were really active just since short time ago so we dont have a lot, but we do have working stuff. and its going smooth now since we totally understand the system on skeletal meshes etc

Also for singleplayer, we start off with online , we might add campaign later when onine is more or less finished.

P.S: we need mappers! just mass-mapping, no beautiful wonderfull amazing stuff nessasary. just a huge map with a village, area to train, with a dungeon with a reward worth doing it. could have a theme you like.. snowy, rainy, jungle.. anything. when your active, i think your welcome on the team. freelance work also ok!

Quick and sloppy mapping, focus on good gameplay? Sounds like Shivaxi would be your man for the job.

I am not very well versed in skinning, ok, I have NO skills there, but the weapon looks from the skins a little bit "boring", to clean, or is this supossed to be like that?
I admit.. its a problem with missing shaders and such stuff.

@minimap: This thing is really working? Is this a "fix" texture with a picture from the top of the map or is there some kind of camera?
@pawns: good job with those creatures. THOSE skins are really looking good. Also the modells!

Impressive to see that you've managed to model and implement new pawns, and they look pretty imaginative, although they could use a more detailed skin. The original mappage that you've shown looks basic but also pretty darned interesting.

as for the weapon skins: theres gonna be so darn many weapons it would take forever to perfect all the skins, but i do a gree with you though, you wont really notice in a dark map.
The radar is like qtit said a satellite view, it moves with you, though it requires a map that has a rather 'high' ceiling for good view. Nyleve is perfect. the radar also shows enemies and friends in the radius where it can see, and it matches every resolution.
and yes, it is 227 only. that is because Skeletal meshes save us alot of time and are easier for me, since i can not do LOD meshes and im not planning to learn that since i simply dont have time for it.
and as for shivaxi- ill ask him xD hes on my IM list and involved with the project.
EDIT: oh, all weapons have iron sights. when firing 'from the hip' bullets spread in a defined radius, when 'aiming down the sights' theres 100% accuracy. oh and qtit, your leaving forced me getting into modelling. thanks for that learning 3 years now and still learning new stuff wtihout a tutor or college so thats why it might look like crap in a professionals eye, but im rather proud of what i managed to accomplish

As a massive Stargate fan I have to say I'm really looking forward to this.
Can you confirm if any other species will make an appearance such as the Replicators, asguard, tok'ra maybe even the wraith?
The possibilities are endless within the Stargate universe, that's why its so appealing.

yes i think they will be there(im sure for the replicators,the others probably too) except for the wraith unless we go atlantis too. personally dont want that because that would mean this project will never end.

Allright guys, its dead. sorry for inconvenience. it took us too long and we were only with 2, and we both felt like we was working on a lost case. it took a LOT of time, and what it is now is still nothing compared to what it should have been.
Here is the patcher, yes it does replace stuff. I dont dare to touch it and create those shortcuts, i might break it. The shop is already broken as far as i know.
