Yup, run FL Studio, make wave samples and mix it up using Mod Plug Tracker. Three hours one piece.

It's an old mining ship. Everything there is dangerous. Even a cup handle.
And that's the idea, it is deliberately filled with that.

Story - The beginning:

You open your eyes... The fire spreads around you, flames shoot to the ceiling, your lungs are filled with painfull odour, your ears are pierced by sounds of heated metal.

You notice that you're lying on the ground. You try to stand up, but the world is spinning around, the air seems to be heavier than you can bear.

You look around. There's a corridor. You start walking, slowly, avoiding deadly fire... Then you can hear a noise behind you. You turn around and you see a hideous monster running towards you. It jumps piearcing you with it's claws.

You open your eyes... Blue ligth humming above you is making you nuts. You get up, start to dress up... Personal radio bips then emmits a deformed voice of McArthy...
- Yo, Dell, time to get to work. I'm waiting for you on the bridge...
Three hours of sleep, freaking nighmares and now another eight hours of drilling on some God forsaken chunk of rock. Every day is exactly the same.

Yep, story is good so far.

I assume this means the first level is mostly spaceship and there is little fighting to begin with.

It works fine with 800x600, 1024x768 and 1280x1024. But got to check widescreen resolution.

Edit:

Phew, works :D

God bless Canvas.clipX and Canvas.clipY...

Checked from 640x480, through 1280x960, to 1600x1200. There's no problem, apart from text's size differences, but it's fine.
