Music of course! But - Artist, title, album?

Adding a few lines about your opinion about the track/artist/album you're listening to wouldnt hurt! 8)
I think its not a bad idea to start a thread like this since there is not much going on here anyway.....

So, I'll start!

Massive Attack - New dawn fades

A little bit too ''monosonic'' for my taste but still a very good track I need to copy on my mp3-player. If you like the original version from Joy Division you'll love this one!

I think it's really epic (especially when it reaches 0:55)

Red Traxx: Akira Yamaoka with Sana - INJECTION OF LOVE (MAGAZINE MIX)

Oh damn. It's something made by Silent Hill's musical god for Konami's DJ simulation games. Genre is Electric "Evil is Sexy" Cabaret. Poisonous sounds and dirty lyrics = yes.

Nothing you would know of....but...

Nightmare by Jade & Matt U.

Awesome tune with a sick bass and wicked drums...I've played it before in some of my mixes from The Bi-Polar Sessions.

EDIT:

Found it online. Was released on a 12" Vinyl EP. Link:

Johnny Rivera - esta tristesa se siente así

Yup, latin was as to be expected. Starts of a bit too mellow but with a nice straight rhythm section and about halfway swings with a rhythm change and trombones playing against the lead melody, in a way which could have made it one of the best salsa songs ever (if it weren't for the first half).

Strictly for latinlovers though 8)

Desiderii Marginis - Hibernation

One of the most depressive soundtracks I've ever listened to, but I still like it. If youre listening to it you suddenly feel cold and uncomfortable but kind of amazed too. Very different music compared to the usual stuff.
Short ''demo'': http://www.lastfm.de/music/Desiderii+Marginis/_/Hibernation
Agalloch - Sowilo Rune
A great song from a great band

Just checked this one out, very nice piece of downtune-music, have to dig deeper into their track selection. As you said the track gets better at about 3:00.

My personal other favorites by agalloch:
Falling Snow
A Desolation Song
Limbs

I think "A Desolation Song" is the closest you get to "Sowilo Rune" here :)

Currently listening to:
Absurd - Des Wotans Schwarzer Haufen

IIDX 16 Empress - Kors K as StripE - Programmed World (extended version)

Psy-Trance (full-on) goodness. Pretty 'future style and NASA soundbites.

Sonata Arctica - Kingdom For A Heart

OT:
It seems to be a lot of techno/ambient music-lovers on this forum.
I'm also member of this forum: http://modsbylaz.14.forumer.com which is about the highly popular Median XL mod for Diablo2. 90% of all of the members there, are Metal-heads. Interesting...

Anyways, my favorite band (Windir) has got 2 "techno/ambient-like" tracks that even I like

Norrøn Seier
Journey To The End (You'll eventually like it from 3:38, but the whole track is epic and full of emotion.)

My music collection is being relocated at the moment, so I just shoved in the only tape I could find in my house—

Bing Crosby- Christmas Classics

It's god awful.
