Mine's just a Saitek Cyborg backlit keyboard and I can change the color from red to green to amber but it's gonna stay red cause I LOVE red. <3

I've been using a das keyboard
Image
Image
for about 2.5 years now. It's made of sex and win, I love it. Especially those blank keys. Forces me to touch type and has improved my typing speed for sure. (Although sometimes I get cocky and try to learn programmers dvorak, and this undoes all my progress in a couple of weeks :P)
I've also bought a classic Model M off ebay. I haven't actually plugged it in and put it to serious use, but whenever I'm feeling nerdy I love to paw at the keys and feel the springs buckling. Very soothing :P

I have a Matias FK302 and a SIIG JK-US0112-S1. Hate on me if you must but my love for my keyboards is as vast as the universe and as deep as cartoons from the moon about mecha and teen angst.

I have a Ducky Shine II with white LEDs and brown switches. I fucking LOVE it, it's built like a tank and looks nice without all the garish LEET GAMER shit plastered everywhere, and it's a full layout yet still able to fit in my backpack, so I take it to work every day too. Easily the single best investment I've ever put into any kind of computer setup. I have had this thing for months now and I'm STILL in love with how great it feels to type. I think it's a large reason behind why I've gotten so much code cleanup done the past few months :p

haha I know right! Programming and debugging becomes so much more bearable as my ragequit meter takes significantly longer to fill up when typing with such pleasant feedback.

Also, looked up this ducky keyboard. Sexy  I like the fact you can switch caps and ctrl at the hardware level. That's a switch i made a few weeks ago and I've got to say, within 4 hours of making the change I had decided I was never going back :)

On this note I have a pile of IBM model M mechanical keyboards if anyone wants one. Found them in my university's dumpster. They're all sort of dirty, some are missing key caps (there are still keys underneath. it allowed for custom caps which as TIK says are great) but they all work perfectly and they're super super nice. Might sell them on eBay for fifteen bucks or so, if only to pay for the shipping and trouble. Message me if you're interested and I'll keep you posted :)

Sell 'em on eBay. People love those things and will pay a premium even for sorta-damaged ones as long as they still type.
