Got power back today Lot of damage by my area. Every house besides ours had either a fallen tree of some kind of structural damage. I consider myself lucky.

where i am in NJ , damage was minimal ,power was out for almost 2 days , cable for 3.
3 miles away the waterfront/marina is wrecked , i think i heard 40+ boats are sunk , and to add insult to injury , there is 300,000 gallons of diesel fuel that has spilled into the water due to a tank that blew over and ruptured. they would not let me in to take any photos.
About 2 miles miles away , there are houses damaged full of water that are unfit for people to live in , so i feel pretty lucky as well. wish everyone else made out as well as we did,but it quite apparent some people lost alot of what they owned.
you guys wanted pics , here is a crappy slideshow with some video i shot on my phone when we had no electricity and i was bored.if i have a hour more i probably could have made it suck less. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lp6MzmyXyY4 (warn:music)

Wow you jog and move fast.
Didn't look too bad, but the whole thing was so big the grand total of damage is a lot.
The house behind us just has a piece of wood trim that is hanging at the bottom edge of a window. But the reason that happened was because the wind was coming from the east and that side of our houses don't get too much wind blast.(West Michigan)
Proph ?
They said that those 80 houses that burnt down was 2 miles away from Coney Island, did you see that fire? or those transformers blowing up?

Seems you survived one heck of a hell there, there were reports on the news in our country about this. Good to know you're still here.

Yeah, we're lucky we don't live in Florida... Mother nature shows her wrath at times... I heard that us on the East might get pounded AGAIN with a snowstorm..........

A gas station blew up near where my father lives and I heard reports of fires near me but I didn't witness any.

Thats the best pictures I seen yet, compared to what the news is showing.Much better depiction of what happened. But throwing in the Hollywood movie part is a disgrace IMO.
Here we go with the big fake sales and marketing of a green agenda.and I am not going to argue about it, but they didn't need to put those movie pictures in there.

They were there to show how Hollywood does things wrong.
"Compare the filthy and sad reality with Hollywood’s stupidly clean and stylized CGI destruction, always wanting to destroy New York in the most spectacular way possible."
