I've always wanted to try and break from the primitive (although VERY powerful! :o ) principle of BSP and boxes only. I fully intend to start working on UT3 content after I finish off Zephon, some RD debts and a small project of mine. Time to expand my knowledge a bit :)

I've got a little question.

I've got HUGE fps drop on my new configuration. As on the old one, that is Core 2 Duo 2.8, 2 GB Ram, Nvida 8600 128 MB, Win XP 32 bit I had like 20 - 30 fps, depending on the map and ambient occlusion settings, on iCore 7 930 2.8, 4 GB Ram 2000 Mhz, Nvidia 470 1280 MB 320 bit and Win 7 64 bit I have... 5 fps?

WHY??????

And for example GTA IV runs like 60 fps and uses only 37% of my CPU. I don't get it. Has anyone any idea?

AllowNvidiaStereo3D = True

Try setting it to false.

Since this thread is UE3 related, Epic managed to make the engine work on Apple products (IPad, IPhone, etc...) with impressive results. They're developing even a new game for them.

Next thing I want to see in UE3 is vast landscapes. Like Crysis at least, but Oblivion made more impression for me.

Nice, nice, I like it... Tho I always had problems with these 'Directional Light Shafts'. They always seemed misplaced. I need to download lates UDK and check it out.

Silly trailer. That's not how rain looks on vertical rock surfaces!
