I looked at the latest videos (not the maze) and I really want to play RLCoop. (That about how far my post has any relevance to RLCoop :shy: ). But I'll post it here since I'm not sure where else it would fit (screenshots?).

Anyway, so I decided to play SkaarjTowerF on U227 difficulty=6 as a sort of training session for RLCoop.

First of all: surprise ... the Skaarj in the room with the Titan are very quicky alerted to me which is a good thing so I can pick them off without having to go looking for them myself. The other good thing is that inevitably a stray shot irritates the Titan effectively making him my ally in that room, thus saving valuable ammo and extra benefit: the Titan gets weakened.
The bad thing is that the Titan easily cleans the room and then he becomes focused on me with some unexpected results. See the screenshot, he can follow the player all the way to the starting room. (Granted, he won't really unless you use godmode and coax him into passing the square arches).
It's so strange, this never happened before so I tried this with UnrealGold (226 final and clean) on ?difficulty=3 (max) and here the Titan already has problems moving in the first room where he gets stuck quite easily.


BTW Shiv and Bleeder: that maze (SkaarjCastle) is a pain in the *ss and in order to finish the game you'll have to pass through it twice :lol:

BTW keep those recordings coming - there almost more fun to watch than playing :wink:

Thanks salsaSkaarj. I'm glad you like the videos. I wasn't sure if I was maybe wasting my time doing the recordings, but I'll keep making more if people enjoy them ^^ I definitely enjoy making them hehe. Hopefully I can make some recordings where we actually FINISH lol =P

Interesting.
If I read correctly the maze does not have to be travelled through twice. Instead it may be possible to use the waterfall passage to get up the cliffs after defeating the General.

edited: so I didn't read correctly, the waterfall in Skaarj Tower is not the same waterfall as in Skaarj Castle (the one with the secret passage) so I guess the maze in Skaarj Tower does have to be taken twice.

EDIT:

Also some NEW FEATURES and little changes/updates forthcoming:

-Accuracy: walking and running will make your shots less accurate. (originally did this to balance headshotting being too easy, as seen in above videos)
-Correct Eye Height: The default eye height level is actually more in our chest and neck. Raised now to be level with our actual eyes.
-Crouching Fix: Crouching would move our eye height too low. This has been fixed and adjusted to be level with real eye height while crouching.
-Proning Fix: Can now shoot correctly while proned.

- Recoil: Yes recoil...not overly retarded but just enough to mess up your aim slightly without totally pissing you off
- Headshots: Cause who doesn't like having headshot damage bonuses for every weapon including splash damage?

I tend to do this a lot. I once managed to build outside of the 65536 editor limit. Things were...not normal... I had to make a mover that let me travel outside into the unknown dimension, since as soon as I crossed that 65536 line on foot, i would fall through the geometry and leave a small crater. also everything would disappear if i tried to look back. maybe i should record that adventure...
