If in doubt, the best strategy is probably to finish the basic build without those extra features, but keep in mind how you will make the best use of them later on. That way, when the build is completed you can undertake a very simple port to UT and a more complex update to use the new 227 features.

One of the maps will get used somewhere in the future. The others (like the screenshot above) are prototype maps which are basically placeholders which never became their own "map". I can also do much more original looking terrain than the screen-shot above so that's basically just garbage.
