The year is 1870. 28 years ago, Queen Victoria was assassinated, and parliment subverted. Gradually, the Clockworkers Guild seized control of England, under the guise of preventing further attacks from Rogue Clockworkers using Infernal Devices. You are an apprentice to the apathetic and eccentric Clockworkers, used to do the tasks they consider "menial" for their ability. Few apprentices graduate, as the Clockworkers have a tenancy to send Apprentices alone on suicide missions that they simply can't be bothered sending their precious automatons on. You have been sent on one such mission. A guild clockworker, Donovan Stacey, has become unstable in his old age, and you have been sent, alone, to dispose of him before he becomes a danger. At least, that was the plan. Naturally, the moment you arrived, you were captured by Automatons and thrown in a cell...
McCaine Cleaning Enterprizes proudly unveils the Steam Cleaning Pistol. 100% Guild certified, this tool will blast away even the most stubborn of stains! If, at any point, the pistol is lacking, simply boost it's powers with a powerful Heat Pack. The pistol needs no maintenence, and it drains the moisture from the air around it for it's steam, so no messy water loading neccesary!
(Yes, you will be wielding the equivalent of a mop, and you will deal with it)

Unit 849: Automated Bolt Gun
This tool, the latest in our line of hardware, allows bolts to be rapidly inserted into constructions, Static and Automatic in nature. Caution should be exercised, as the bolts come from the gun at a high speed, and are hazardous to unprotected humans and automatons alike.

The Johanson Armament Corporation proudly presents it's latest weapon. The "Gear Jack" fires standard sized bronze gears, the kind of which can be found in almost any hardware store. The versatility of the gun, which can effectively fire junk, and requires to wasteful powders like the musket, makes it a superior combat tool. It is quite effective against automatons of infernal design.
Ha, I'm wide awake (almost :shy: ) and I can barely read that. I think I got the idea.
Looks interesting, maybe a bit VVV? :) Looks to have a nicely developed plot too.

Please though, don't use that squigly writing on a custom translator screen or I'll spend hours on each message! :o

Don't worry, I couldn't get it to import
Yeah, it is Victorian Era, although it's more Steampunk, where VVV was Historical. But some of the outdoor parts will probably be in a similar style. Maybe that font wasn't such a good idea...

It really wasn't. :P The only thing I can make out is that 'tragedy' is spelt wrong!
But the weapons look interesting. A steampunk pistol that fires... steam! Is there a gun that fires punks?

Oops... I'll fix that when I get time... And I suppose the gears are shaped kinda like mohawks :P
