Hey has anyone made a Single Player level for unreal 3 or know where I might find someone who has?
I am having issues with the Ai and scripts in kismet that do not work completely. Such as the Abort Move function does absolutley nothing, another issue I have is that the Move to Actor(latent) action does not work with Bots inside of vehicles. Does anyone have any suggestions or a solution to this?

Well, that could be a little bit difficult, because Unreal 3 isn`t released yet
So Dude, what do you mean... Unreal Engine 3 or Unreal Tournament 3??

I think that Unreal 3 will never be released .
I think that to create good SP pack, scripting is required. Try to take a look at other games on UE3 (if there are sources for 'em released).

Unreal Tournament 3 is what i meant. It just seems now that this editor is a piece of junk if you want to script bots. Pretty much everything works in a single specific way or they simply do not work. Nobody at all seems to be trying this except for me.

I've tried making stuff for Unreal Tournament 3 but it can be a real pain to get much done. The editor interface is clunky as hell and was designed for giant, dual-monitor setups. Unsuprisingly this is what Epic uses but does make it hard to use for many people. Don't expect to get much done at 1024x768 res. Property windows take up half the screen (no use of tabs etc.) and many features are missing namely viewing scripts and exporting from cooked packages. Speaking of cooked packages why the hell were they put there in the first place? Performance? I don't believe that. More like consoles, which is Epic's no. 1 priority these days (as officialy said by CliffyB and Mark Rein). Crappy file origanisation system to boot. Don't forget about Epic pimping modding for the PS3 too.
-- END OF RANT --
I haven't seen any UT3 SP's yet (or rather any worth checking out). It'll probably be a while yet due to the amount of time that has to be put in to produce anything good. If anything good appears I'll be sure to give it a go.
As for Unreal 3 if there is a product that is branded as such it'll probably be of little interest to fans of the original. Gears of War is now their main SP-focused series (and cash cow).

To be honest new UEd works fine for me, stable, no need for tabs actually you just select stuff you want in the browser, as for the file orhanisation - can't say it's bad - you got everything in one file so... Also if someone tries to create a map with only BSP - ye it can be a real pain to get much done ( unless someone wants to create UT'99 maps in new editor). PS3?? Of course it's their main interest now since PC version is on the shells for few months, can't see a problem with Epic on the console market. Unreal 3 - not this year, next year either - I think it will be eventually done and WILL be strongly connected with Unreal 1 plot, this is what fans expect you know ( Epic surely took a lesson after crappy U2).

The problem is taking into account what is required of mappers to produce something worthy with the new engine (or for that matter, the 2k4 engine as well). This is exactly what puts a frustrating halt in many mapper's attempts to make maps, let alone the huge responsibility needed to endure to produce a SP map.
It's simply way more work to do things that used to be as easy as subtracting and adding rooms. I know it's what certainly stopped me from even thinking of trying to do a SP on the 2k4 engine. I imagine the situation has only gotten even more complex with UT3, although I haven't checked the editor for that one.

I guess we'll have to wait a SP framework before creating SP maps for UT3, if you don't prefer maps where you're only walking around...
UnrealEd 4 is much better than UnrealEd 2.0. I find no problem at all using it, and I find the packages much more organized than UT's or UT2004's packages. Custom content is very easy to add and set up, and the new additions like Kismet and Cascade are awesome. As Prophet said, the problem lies in the time required to produce something at UT3 standards rather than the editor itself. If you tried to recreate exactly an Unreal level (with the same level of detail) in UnrealEd 4 you'd save lots of time.

Let's remember to everyone it was Legend, not Epic, who made U2.
And yeah, the new UEd is so simple to use. Lots of features, even more than UT3!
Ye, but Epic is responsible for it in the end. As for the modelling - it's a matter of two weeks with videotutorials and you got all you need to start working on the map - it will take more time than DM-Liandri to make though ( mesh, highpoly version, texture + normal map + other additional materials like speculars and stuff [ though there are easier ways to get normal maps - from simple textures with a photoshop plugin, the effect isn't worse than normal method], import, set up materials). And i'ts only a matter of time when SP mods will pop up so other people will use that stuff for their own mods.

Well I am currently working on it right now, making an SP level or well 2. I guess Kismet was not designed for scripting bots, because it is an Epic Fail.
I guess I will have to focus on just making it fun and adding puzzles.

Were there any serious Unreal SP Packs for ut2k3...what about 2k4?..exactly.
What makes you think there will be any for UT3?
U2...according to most people..sucked...and did very bad. So i doubt they will make a U3
In point, single player gameplay in the unreal world is going to die at the same time that this place [unrealsp.org] dies.
And i think, as time progresses, modding for most games will die once a console is required for every game.
