Here's link to Direct3D 10 for UT, U1, Rune and DeusEx: http://kentie.net/article/d3d10drv/ for all Vista/7 users. Didn't tested it yet but it seems like a really nice driver with all most important options.

Quite nice. The most interesting feature is gamma correction - instead of using UT's normal formula, it seems to have changed to UT2004's approach, changing contrast as well. The driver highly enhances colours and enriches lighting, however fog seems to work differently. Most maps look much better in D3D10, but some are weirded up.
Have some comparison shots.
D3D10 D3D9
D3D10 D3D9
D3D10 D3D9 (note the fog, lamps and difference in colours)

Nah, I'm pretty sure the X is just the placeholder for all the Direct things Microsoft bundles into their DirectX package. DirectSound, Direct3D, DirectInput, DirectDraw, etc. The X just makes it a catchier name, but any Direct3D driver is simply the video extension of DirectX. Like how UT2kX refers to UT2k3 and UT2k4, etc.

Why is "UT" written in front of the subject of this topic? This isn't just for UT...this is actually for multiple games, which is stated in the first post anyway...
