I wondered already where you found those textures :) These are the flames I have now:

I think they work quite fine for small flames, but it would be nice to have more textures at my disposal :)

Looks good to me!

I always preferred particle-ee looking flames rather then games trying to make it look more realistic by using pictures of flames (F.E.A.R. for example) :P

I think I'll stick to my flames for small torches, but I've already used what Raven sent me :D It's amazing.

Really? It looks fine to me. And those meshes look great; you can hardly tell the textures weren't manually created specifically for them. Nice job :)

Thanks, but the textures aren't custom made at all :P I can't texture - anything - yet. Never tried it thus far. The mesh uses 2 seperate textures, that are used all over the levels anyway. Maybe when I get down to unwrapping and texturing I can do something about that, but for now it should work.

@Dublez-down: Too dark? :/ They look fine to me too...

This would look cool if not the lighting - compare hwos your skybox lit and then the level itself - its a lmost a day in teh skaybox and night in the level - ? Textures / archi - good stuff

Thank you for the kind reply.

The lighting is far from finished though, so don't worry! There a few glitches in the present beta release of 227g still, one of them being that static meshes don't lit up properly sometimes. Due to this I haven't really finalized the lighting scheme yet and have concentrated on raw building for the time being. I'm glad to hear you like the texturing and the build :tup: Thank you.

OK, back in production :) Had a short 3 week hiatus. I have a few ideas how to redesign some meshes, and I've covered UV mapping in the last month, so I'm working on texturing now. Will be working on it over the weekends mostly though.

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up :)
