Funny you should mention that LH , i'm building one right now . It is fairly large and will be the second map but at the moment it is quite featureless and does'nt warrant a screen.

I haven't played HL2, but I can really see the Half-Life influence here from my experience of the original game. Nice.
Life is what you make of it.

I haven't checked this site out in a long time (I only do once or twice a month just to get updates on the mods in development), and just stumbled on this thread. The screenshots provided by Jazz look pretty good. I'm just wondering, what exactly did he take from which existing map packs? Terrain/Caves?

I really don't think we need to hash it all out again... Just go here:

here's a new update.
Ive decided to redo the whole pack rather than rehash the levels one by one. It will now come in three episodes comprising between 8 - 10 levels each. The time it is taking due to real life constraints has forced me to do this for the benefit of the community, the first levels are 70 - 75% complete with extra content, scripted scenes and a fair story to boot.
The core of the levels from the original are in place but spliced together to form three distinct scenarios for each pack.
This image is from the end of the third level ' Oppressive Metal' and is finished

This one is from the new 'processing' map but is yet unfinished.

This is also from 'Processing'

This one is from a level called 'Subtle Plan' and was originally far into the first pack but has now been brought forward to the seventh map.
[/img]
I'm not certain of the timescale for the finish as i want to make damn sure i have everything spot on because i dont want my fingers burnt again with any content that i have missed or dont have permission for.
The first thing i'll be doing is having my nephew play test it as he's very critical of games and he's also agreed to rip it apart if theres any crap!
So stay tuned.

Awesome news. Your design skills are really really good if all this was made entirely from scratch by yourself; you didn't need to rip anything to begin with! I look forward to playing this.
