There's a small room with an Infantry, a Gunner and a Sniper that attack you at the same time /map

I've always thought Kralls and modern environments don't go together, although when you think about it, they're not native to NaPali so we know they've seen the inside of a spaceship.

Epic did something similar in the MotherShip beta, though that one still had the old, demon version of the Krall.

All Modders: We need "Space Krall" skins, models and pawns.

I think Krall in tech maps are fine given they're slaves of the Skaarj, they'd probably only guard less important parts of a base though (for security reasons) and a "tech Krall" skin to have them fit in more would be nice.

I guess my review covers things (although it's probably little outdated by this point). I think the non-linearity is a nice idea and the various views you get outside the ship are nice, especially the "spacewalk" part. On the other hand it falls into common non-linearity failings like the difficulty being uneven because there's nothing stopping you wondering into more challenging fights first (the fact the offshoot parts you access later are some of the least combat-intensive parts doesn't help), and your goals aren't especially well-communicated. Those add up to making it pretty average.

I've made no secret of my like of Chris Burgess levels. One Day was his pinnacle, but this level is still really cool to me. I always liked how multi-tiered a lot of the rooms can be, sometimes with windows and the general use of walkways. This kind of stuff is always hard to do in layouts. And this layout is really strong. MMAN brings up good points in his review, though I still find this one unusually interesting for a single level.

Does anyone have an active download link that doesn't include a .umod file for this?

Um... Does anyone have an active download link that HAS an UMOD file for this? Not searching for one, just out of curiosity because I never saw this in UMOD. Went to OldUnreal and found this:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/735 ... ace666.zip

It's in my dropbox now and is NON-umod.

Yep, I totally misspoke. The working link on the review has the .unr.

I enjoy this map because it's short but with enough charm and fun factor to keep me interested within that short time. Can just boot it up, whoop some baddies and then move on to more important things, similar to 13 mutants and The Calling. Great for when I want to take a shot of Unreal, but don't want to chug through a campaign for 4 hours and use up all my concentration power for the day.
Sucks to come out of my room with a videogame hangover. (See: ONP, 7B, Xidia, TLF, etc)

Also as Mr Prophet mentioned; this mapper rocks. One day is a favourite pack of mine. I totally forgot that he did this level as well.
