This is probably one of my favorite RtNP maps. I thought it was a bit short, though.

You know, I was never a huge fan of this theme. In the original RTNP, I think this was possibly my least favorite map. It does have some very nice creative designs, like the many giant faces. I just found it boring at times due to the repetitive game play. There were pretty much no scripted battles. Plus, this map was always overloaded with ammo. I tried to spruce up the game play a bit in my RTNP conversion, especially by re-introducing beta sections. On a side note, has anyone ever noticed that none of the torches have sounds in this map? I spent forever adding torch sounds for my conversion. That's not even to mention all the texture alignment issues...

LH - Does your version of this map reintroduce all of the Beta content in this map? Or only some of it? I've been interested in playing the beta version of this for a long time. Hopefully your version will save me the trouble.

All the beta areas have been added except the intro (which is used elsewhere) and a pointless trap room where you have to jump over a group of platforms.

I always liked the huge stone head with the mouth that opens. Aside from that, I don't care much for this map.

Before this gets locked...
Not a bad level, though I do admit that it does feel a bit lackluster following other better designed places like the Temples of Chizra and Vandora. I still think that going back to the passage (except this time in the day) was a nice touch and it was kinda neat seeing the aftermath of your actions.
Still though I'll never forget the insane amount of traps that were present. The log entry given by Prisoner 849 after this level is probably my favourite.

What UB said. There is only one pointless walkway-over-lava room that I did not reintroduce. The rest of the beta content I added back in, with improvements for much of it.
