I know of it, Bob. As you can see, Seethe is in the OP, with five new links.

you posted a replacment link in a forum post that someone viewing the review may never read or look for.
i guess it's ok since maybe you cant edit the review yourself. but i know i didnt think to look on the forum when i found the link was broken....

I'll miror those files via my dropbox.
One more mirror won't be bad at all.

Well, Sana said he'll update the review links when he updates the site itself. We have to wait until that is ready.

While it's unlikely this will drop off the top of the post list I've decided to make this thread a sticky since it's pretty important until the links are added to the main site.

Seems like you removed already all UT-Files links. Skillz closed it.

Purged the ut-files links today. As sad as it is to see'em go away, hard luck.

I get the uneasy feeling that a lot of mods and maps are falling into the dark internet, and have been doing so more rapidly since BU, and nalicity and filefront took a downward turn round 2008 (at least we've got unreal playground, mapraider and oldunreal, but I can't help thinking that they haven't catalogued everything that's been done between them).

I don't have much time to play the games any more and, similar to hellscrag, I'm slowly losing interest. However I've got a love for this series that won't die, driven for the most part by the seemingly unlimited mods and maps that are out there, it sucks to have that slowly leaking away. How much would it have cost to keep that site going? If I had known there were plans to shut it down I would have put some money forward. If $100 could keep it going for another year I would have happily contributed.

That collection represents 15 years of time and effort from lord knows how many contributers. It's kind of like the unreal equivalent of an art gallery burning down.

Thanks for oraganising all these, it makes it much easier to find the downloads.

Can I askl that you please make sure that my site http://www.smstributes.co.uk/sinistral/ ... gotten.htm is the primary site for download of Unreal Forgotten? On the off-chance I want to update the pack again this should be the main link people use to obtain the latest version. http://www.smstributes.co.uk/sinistral/ ... _Final.zip is the direct link to the binary.

Thanks.

Thanks
