install Adblock Plus and NoScript. I haven't seen a single ad there (or pretty much anywhere else) because of those addons.

Been using those for years. It's awesome how by cleaning out the crap it even speeds the websites up cause you don't have to load a crapload of flash with every refresh. Also, no viruses. Comes in so handy when exploring the dodgier corners of the internet. Can click a link with no fear or hesitation knowing that everything will be blocked until I say so.

Just discovered that beer from outer space has a sequel. Might want to review?

Oh, I didn't know that this exists. The author had a big goal. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to finish. He asked for help from other mappers in the readme. He created new pickups and new pawns (some bot-like humans, some Krall-based aliens, gooses & a dog). Honestly, it reminds me more of Duke Nukem 3D than Unreal. The only thing it shares with Unreal/UT are some Gasbags and UT weapons. So it can be viewed similar to Spacial Fear & Panic 2.

I recommend to play it. Doesn't take too long (approx. 2 hours). Download contains 4 maps. First 3 are pretty much finished, 4th is majorly a demo flyby.

Geese, kind sir. Geese.

Too bad it wasn't finished. Today it probably would've been, especially with Postal 2 having bird meshes and a dog mesh. ;)

List was updated and cleaned up. I myself have my own reviewing commitment (the behemoth Csejte Castle / Herd Coop map pack) but as it has been stated multiple times in the thread, guest reviewers are very welcome to try.

I should probably do Prisons Of the Unforchers soon. I've been so caught up with school that I forgot that I said I would do it!

I think a featured article about RTNP:UE would be great. A review definitely wouldn't be appropriate, but something more than a news item needs to be said about it imo.

Also, with Illhaven2012. My understanding is that it's quite a different pack from the original. Quite sliced and diced and non-linear. When it is dealt with, will it be as a review or a re-review? Will the original and the 2012 update be treated as separate packs on the review page?

I think I'll write a featured article about RTNP and various iterations/versions/remakes/extensions of it -- as well as origins. That would cover all these. As for Illhaven, I'll play through it first and compare but I am more keen on a re-review since all in all it is an update. Massive in scope, but still an update.

yeah, righto. it's just that iirc it was possible to go from a hub map to the other maps in whatever order, thus breaking story progression. in that case Would be cool if a point was docked for technical execution or something but not for the overall story as it was intended to be played.

Somehow I just can't see Illhaven starting anywhere but in that boat....

You know what i'll just shut up cause i still haven't found the time to play it myself (still waiting for kew to release that update which he said he wasn't going to release :P the shots were too good)

Hey there. Can we add anything that hasn't been reviewed from the USP 8th and 10th anniversary comps? There's still stuff like kakas map and ISV dragonfly. All the speedmaps deserve a go as well if anyone has time to review them.

With the authors consent, I reckon it would be cool to at least review anything that's been beta released and hasn't seen an update for over 2 years. Nali chronicles had a beta review before a full review, so there is a precedent. So yeah, EXU2 is off limits because waff is a production machine and actually updates frequently. But stuff like dragonfly and enslaved could be added to the list.

Doing both parts of Crazy For Fight now, trying to recover the third pack straight from the author.

EDIT: CFF3 recovered, it'll be released alongside a review impromptu.

Where is the current official list? The first post was last updated 2010.

Also, could we get a weedrow review or featured article? something similar to the deja vu and onp articles would be cool if a review isn't deemed appropriate.
