New UT SP released 30 July 2003 Hellscrag
Nicklas "DeluxScan" Teisner has released Sky Isles, the first map of a proposed map pack. As you might expect, the map is set on a sky island a la Unreal's Na Pali Haven. The map can be downloaded here (814kb).
UnrealSP.Org Wallpaper 30 July 2003 Hellscrag
Ger Ledderhof sent in a very cool UnrealSP.Org wallpaper, which has been added to the Links and Files page. A zip containing the wallpaper in 800x600, 1024x768 and 1280x1024 sizes can be found here (325kb).
Unreal Honoured 29 July 2003 Hellscrag
Homelan Fed list Unreal as the fifth item in their 10 most important FPS of all time. As they write, "the game contained the best graphics of a first person shooter game to that date with huge outside areas, great character designs and more."
You gotta have Faith 24 July 2003 Hellscrag
Drevlin has announced a new UT SP project he will be working on. Losing Faith will take place across two maps in two vastly different environments and will feature the vocal talents of eVOLVE. Screenshots et al will be forthcoming, and in the mean time the full story is available on Drevlin's site.
Nali Chronicles enters closed beta state 15 July 2003 Hellscrag
That's right, folks, the Nali Chronicles mod has been brought to closed beta state. This means that the pack is ready for testing and the crew want your help. Drop into their site and contact Eater. We can look for a release in the next couple of weeks.
New upcoming map 06 July 2003 Hellscrag
Willis has begun work on a collaborative pack entitled The History of Nak'Ta. More information about the pack can be found via the Upcoming Maps page. Additionally, version 1.1 of Déjà Vu - Gryphon Revisited is being worked on by some of our mappers, but is not set for a release any time soon. In the mean time, playing 1.01 is still recommended.
