I logged on USP and saw something I do not approve of. I saw a new name on the moderator list and browsed a random thread to discover that Semfry is in fact MMAN.
Semfry, Buff Skeleton, Ividiotus...you guys are killing me! I can't remember all this new stuff...

No, seriously I'm in 100% agreement here with Mister_Prophet. Aside from the fact that name changes are instantly confusing, the name change never trickles through in (or to) the past. TLF was made by Waffnuffly (I hope I spell this correct), in the 8th anniversary a guy named sana entered the competition and released a map, sana who? sana what?, I vaguely remember a name Qtit - something tells me he also took a different name.
If this continues I'm going to change my name to MamboQueen

I understand your pain Proph, even though I changed my name a while back myself, there's just something very special and unique to the nicknames that people start out with (Waffnuffly pour example). Besides I only changed my name because people kept confusing me with my character (Captain John Clark) and I wanted to personalise myself, y'know?

No, it's a permission setting. Simple registered users (standard group) have that permission turned off, the permission can be turned on, on a per user basis or with (certain) group membership. I suspect you (and Waff, Steadz, etc) have that permission (for self) through group membership (moderator permissions)
