Though, truth to tell, the desire to make a clown has been with me (on & off) for awhile.

Was originally thinking of going for a polka-dot theme...

I periodically notice maps I thought I shared before I haven't or I got confused by the versions.

Map edit I did years ago for the initial version of the =FoodFight= mutator, which I tested for this to try it against a lot of different kinds of monsters.

Initial impression was it wasn't well suited for MonsterHunt, which led to a customized version for MH.

Then this map I previously released for XV...

...which I'm not altogether sure can be beaten without XV.

Slight difference in that there's 1 kind of zombie on this map which wasn't on the XV version as it caused map crashes against those vehicles... doesn't happen so much with no XV.

X-SE: Xavier's Security Enforcers
We were introduced to the concept of the X-SE towards the start of the 1990s.

A mutant peace keeping force that operated like a hardcore police unit, from a future timeline of approximately 100 years hence.

A trio of them got stuck in the past, our present, in pursuit of criminals who time traveled via one crook who had that power. They quickly came into conflict with the X-Men as historical records weren't great in their era and they didn't recognize the X-men as being legitimate.

Such is the way of things...

What we have here is a Facing Worlds sort of thing, except it's on the ground...

Each base has a UTDMS (SkaarjBerserker) who's more than a little trigger happy, and possibly psychotic.

There's a UTDMT (Titan) in the middle of the map, named "Snow Cone". He's not on anybody's team.

Nelsona placed bot-pathing on the map and gave the UTDMS monster-pathing; UTDMT remains free range.

When I was making the clown skins I kept fixating on an overall yellow skin, though obviously I didn't go that way.

Still, it was a hard image to shake.

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of bees. Don't mind them at a distance but up close I find them worrisome.

Having Emergency Medical Technicians in UT might seem a little weird... but it is the unreal series, so.

Was toying with adding a stethoscope to go over his shoulders around his neck, but that seemed like gun holsters with drawn in pistols in them which always annoys me.

Back when, while I was still getting used to XV (a bit before Buggie started working on it) I set this up to test it on:

This is one of NiX's maps setup with 1 XV, 1 UTDMW, 1 SkaarjPlayerBot, & 1 Cyberus.

Wanted a lot of room to practice driving the tank and fighting other foes with it.

Map has virtually no pathing, so you have to go and get their attention.

Sometimes forget I don't post everything to forums, this was previously linked to Facebook's UT-groups back in 2022.

This is an edit of a previous edit of mine · https://unreal-games.livejournal.com/120294.html · as I wanted to make LostInTime a bit more difficult.

I actually did a previous XV edit of the original MH-LostInTime when Ferali 1st made this, but there's been several upgrades since and I've learned some specific aspects of it that needed to be adjusted for MH use specifically... to keep things, at least, somewhat fair.

It's the same basic scenario as always.

You fight your way through a Skaarj base, jump through a time portal and wind up in a time where there are dinosaurs, and then fight your way to another portal to bring you back to the present.

Now, there are a number of folks who may well tell you that while you're in the vehicles you will be completely safe from dinosaur attacks...

...and having edited a couple MH maps with XV on them, let me assure you: THAT IS NOT TRUE!

I can't explain the physics of it, but some dinosaurs can get close enough to the vehicles that they can attack specifically where the players "are" in them, which damages the vehicles. Which is fair, to my way of thinking, but not everyone is totally happy about that.

Recent help from Baardman, in providing the pigmentation edit, and here we are.

Tournament takes place in the 23rd Century, proposed time of when race becomes less an issue as more or less everyone all has the same shade of skin. Still, I've been kind of wanting to do something like this for awhile and I never managed to get there via my usual method of tint edits.

Hero Man skin was born out of some random geekery, as not all superheroes have money to burn (the newest Spidey in the movies we got to see his old suit before Tony Stark upgraded it) many have to make do with what's available. Like 2 little known films, one the good guy was "Blankman" and while I don't recall the other's name it was played by Woody Harrelson.

Basically a run of the mill supersuit. 3 faces, full team colors.

Raw Flab is 1 of, so far, 3 skins of Donald Trump. Initially requested · https://ut99.org/viewtopic.php?t=14300 · there, I was initially hesitant to do so but the idea wouldn't go away.

Face provided by Baardman, initial skin based loosely off the RawSteel which is one of UT's defaults.

1 face, full team colors.

Created for the terrible reason (so going to Hell) to be placed on bots and have names assigned to them of bad people I dislike.

That was the reason behind the creation of the male Nitwit · https://unreal-games.livejournal.com/161645.html · and as I didn't feel gender was a big deal I used to assign bad people's names to that who were women too... but today, for some odd reason, I embarked on a quest to make a female version.

Boredom is a harsh mistress!

Like the male, the female has limited team colors...

Oh, about the belt thingy wrapped around the upper torso? Let's chalk that up to mild self-awareness and slightly different non-human anatomy.

Wolfenstein 3D's villains
Originally this skin-set included B.J. Blazkowicz, the hero of Wolfenstein 3-D that everyone plays as... but all the rest was pretty much done and his particular skin needed a lot of work.

Can always come back to him later.

I did these edits off a skin called the Russian Commando, and made quite a few alterations to it. Reason the suit & tie aren't entirely straight is the strap which goes around the front and back went the opposite way on the Commando, and I flipped that around... but not everything lined up properly. Gave it a number of edits to straighten things out (it's better than it was) but ultimately decided I didn't care if it was perfect or not.

They're nazis, a crooked uniform seems appropriate.

Along with the usual issues that certain parts of the Male Soldier model don't allow for Team Colors (upper arms, shoulders, head/hands) I did what I could. Chose not to do the boots & gauntlets for reasons mostly relating to the hands... and of course the arm-band:

It's a different emoji on each soldier.

Skin-set includes Blue Soldier, Brown Coat, Hitler, White Officer...

...and the Green Guard from the sequel Spear of Destiny.

Team Colors are on the strap around the front & back, the tie, and the belt. Not so easy to see depending on the overall color of a couple of the uniforms for specific colors, though I'm sure snipers will be able to tell which team is which.

Probably best for MonsterHunt due to limited Team Colors, possible for NPC characters if anyone makes one for the Male Soldier... and it's not impossible to make a monster from the Male Soldier model if anyone ever had the time.

Donald Trump in 2 suits
When I first approached the idea of skinning Trump, I was thinking initially of simply transferring a suit from an old Bill Clinton skin...

...it wasn't a terribly good suit, but I don't like Trump all that much so I was fine with that.

However, over time it kinda bugged me so I tried to find a good replacement. That took awhile as despite having the Skin City Database... not all the .zip files have displays of the skins in them.

Eventually I found a good one, but rather than replace the other I decided to keep both.

This was a better suit, but it needed some slight alterations and I wanted to keep the original shoes and tie.

Both skins have full team colors but with a limited display:
- Top one has it on the sign on the back and the belt.
- Bottom one has it on the sign on the back and the tie.
