After barring the interstellar mercenaries from the tournament for years, Liandri Corporation finally reached a consensus and allowed the aliens to join under certain conditions. The mercenaries were not allowed to use their trademark weaponry or suit functionality, among other things. The ingenious mercenaries gladly complied with all of Liandri's requests, believing that they can (and will) beat the humans at their own game, no matter how weakened they are.
This is a playable mercenary that uses skeletal animations and a custom model. It has team skins and talk textures for the normal mercenary and mercenary elite, the beta mercenary and elite, and the tech demo mercenary.
Requirements: UT v436 or Unreal 227

I could make any pawn into a player as long as I give them a skeleton and remake their animations. For the krall, I'm going to do a complete re-release with better skins, talk textures, and skeletal animations.
I'm working on player animations for the slith and normal animations for the queen and krall. The warlord would definitely be possible because I could use its bind pose from the techdemo.
Already noticed something with the Mercenary model. If you stand still, it uses the generic (Fighter) animation (looks like he's stuck). If you begin to run or walk in this mode, the Merc will be stuck in his Fighter or Breath anim for a few seconds until he begins to "run/walk" properly.
any chance of making these and others for Unreal? :3

EDIT: woot! hell yeah...works in 227 with botpack =D this is pretty awesome actually hot damn...i just noticed there's no walking backwards animation though xD. I love it though...i want all the other pawns you made now :3 =P

but yeah...even though it does work for 227 in botpack...unreal compatible versions would be cool too ^^ though it wouldnt be able to be a skeletal mesh if you're looking for full support like 225 and such...only 227 supports skeletal
