Hello, everyone!
I'm not a professional artist or something, but I like to draw... in fact, I'm always drawing something... just for myself.
Usually I draw portraits and only a short time ago I've made some progress in backgrounds and landscapes...

Suddenly, I decided to post my Unreal & UT Fan Art here - not to show off, but to contribute to this lovely community. =)

First four pictures are dedicated to Prisoner 849 (how I imagine Him... Yes > NOT female )

I love the first two and last two. The rest is very good as well, but these four are just brilliant as it comes to character drawing and shading.

I never called those 'brilliant' cause I'm just an amateur... and the first thing I'm holding to is the atmosphere itself - even in faces and characters... The most important thing is the pure inspiration! But when it comes to drawing skills - I'm far from brilliant, a way tooo faaar XDD

The first pic I'd call really good in terms of technique - shading which I think i very well done, hands are perfectly drawn, the bends of clothing look probable, not just random strokes.
Second pic - beautiful shading and awesomely done face. At first glance I though that his posture was a bit off cause when someone is leaning on a fence for example his back is bent. Your character's back is straight which made me wonder what exactly is he doing. But then I noticed that the railing is quite tall so it does make sense - I guess.

You ARE a skilled drawer (not sure if that means 'a man who draws' or just a 'furnishing'). Your style reminds me somewhat manga drawings but just in little extent. Tho, I always imagined the Prisoner 849 to be a little more... a man than a boy.

And this blueish girl char from 2008- Why does it remind me Cowboy Beebop?

Yeah, I like to draw shades, folded clothes and hair...
And you guessed right about the pose on the second one - actually the rail is really so tall, that character's back even seems to be bent backwards, than just straight.

Cowboy Beebop? Oh, I heard of that anime, but never watched it . So it's just a coincidence =)
By the way, about elements of manga style in my pics... That makes sense again, 'cause when I was much much smaller - I used to draw anime and manga only! It took a lot of time to learn again and add more realism into the drawings, but years passed and now the style differs from manga much, I hope!

Oh, I understand that... And this is coming up to individual conceptions...
Once, I had a little discussion concerning this topic... so this is what I answered to a man, who said that my #849 "lacks the hardiness necessary to wipe out a whole Skaarj colony".
Me: "And about the hardiness... In my concept, there was not any. There was an affect. The endless fear that made him kill, though he's not a killer. He wasn't. He was just a young man, unlucky enough to get into a scrape... and he was growing older, getting tougher, in his mind and body, becoming strong and, the most important, desperate enough to wipe the Skaarj and others out...
It's...a psychological aspect, that made him win the battle. I believe, no one can be SO strong and hard physically to survive in that situation."

Fair enough. In that case I'd like to see this guy when he became stronger, when he has already beaten all these hordes and survived. I'm guessing this 'adventure' had some impact on the way he looks. So, are there plans to draw the survivor Prisoner #849?

Yep! Actually there ARE such plans... Only a matter of time and inspiration - 'cause the idea is wonderful!

My mind is a separate entity. I have many wonderful ideas but having no time to put in motion almost all of them is a pain.

Dunno....seems a bit emo for Unreal, particularly for 849. I would think one would have to be pretty badass to be stuffed into Rikers and shipped off. Those dudes look like 849's victims.

Very accomplished art, for sure however...you certainly have talent! I can't draw a line myself.
