Well you could replace the textures of the surfaces that use WetBeams1 with another one, maybe you can make a mylevel texture that replicates the original texture, I believe the only place that the map uses that texture is in the boat at the beginning of the map.

What version of that texture are you using? The stock version doesn't cause crashes on my end.
