Ended up heavily revising the original post of the thread, felt that since I stripped the thread of alot of the older images before I didn't have much of the updated parts of the same areas.
All still a work in progress.

Beautiful as always, Kajgue!
This is certainly the project that will make me try Unreal coop if I haven't tried it yet by the time Terra Mining Region is out

So, TMR coop will probably mandate a bit to alot more group co-ordination vs regular co-op though! But that's cool to hear honestly :O
Without a squad, the player can also play solo but that's less recommended. Also that would diminish dialogue options so it's recommended to group up with friends.

Sounds great, the fact this would both require more group coordination vs regular coop AND come with additional dialogue options means the experience is calibrated for coop first which is vastly more interesting to me than playing SP-centric material in coop!

Late reply but yeah. I'm somewhat divided on how "necessary" teammates should be vs playing on your own. The protagonist (essentially Player 1) would still be the same character, but if the player has dialogue options I feel like the rest of the player's team (also players) should have the ability to chime in to dialogue at specific times, which might steer the course of a conversation.Sat42 wrote:Sounds great, the fact this would both require more group coordination vs regular coop AND come with additional dialogue options means the experience is calibrated for coop first which is vastly more interesting to me than playing SP-centric material in coop!
How well this would flow right now is super untested and I imagine players should group up with friends for more effective co-ordination, as i have no idea how chaotic joining party's of randoms would be in contrast (I would certainly encourage players join their friend's squads anyway).
In another sub-topic, I added the synopsis to the thread post from ModDB.
