The level shots look like a mix between some interesting locations and some of what I'd like to call "corner of the closet" type shots, but I do like some of the more colorful exterior desert stuff. The Unreal looking locations are always a visual compromise and I like it when Na Pali looks like Na Pali (and so do a lot of players). The high tech looking shots caught my eye too, like the textures used there. I hope the terrain mapping is going smoothly for you, that's always been hard for me. Is that a one eyed-skaarj I see ?
Keep it going man I think you have something cooking here, and lords know we need campaigns!
This corner of the closet type maps are early alpha which are much better now. Desert stuff map is located on Sulferon, where player has got top secret mission. To the issue of terrain - I have no problems with it: most of terrain I am making in TerraEdit then texturising brush and finally exporting to Static Mesh. Anyway thanks for nice words for the project, hope I'll make rest of it in the nearest time
EDIT: Nope it's not one eyed-skaarj XD It's a new skin which I made for it.
For oen reason or the other the title in this topic is now:
Re: [u1] Unreal: Return to Na Pali Episode 4: Na Pali War
(notice the 2 became a 4)
Is this by accident or have I missed something?

So... There are 4 Episodes planned and the title of the whole campaign is Na Pali War?
If that's the case then what happened to Episode 1 and Episode 3, I haven't seen any notice about those (unless of course they're not being developed in numerical order).
Episode 1 was Return to Na Pali. All 3 projects treat this as base and are sequels to it. Episodes are developed currently simultaneously, with complete resource pooling involved. They are, as follows: Episode II is The Manhunt, chronicling the fate of the few survivors from Bodega Bay struggling to complete Operation 'Talon Hunter' which as of RTNP's end was not successfully completed -- UMS neither has the Talon Datacores and the security risks have not been eliminated. It'll be played from the perspective of two distinctive player characters. Episode 3 is Operation Stealth Claw, Episode 4 is Na Pali War. So far only the Manhunt has no proper thread, but this will change soon.

I'm still working on porting the rest of the models, writing #exec directives all day is a major pain in the arse.
I'll post another screenshot when there's a significantly larger amount of content to show...
Well, the conversion project aims for the U2 Weapons as they are featured in UT2004 and UTXMP, because - simply put - they are more compatible. Meaning there will be a few that are left out for the time being. This may be subject to change of course, but the current plan is as I have said. It all began with the thought: "Hey, UMS needs more Terran ordinance"...
