Developer: Sarevok Status: Developing Synopsis: My 6 week speedmapping map turned into a small project. So far only 2 maps are planned. The name is just a generic temporary one that will be changed later. Features: Just a few new extras. Latest News: Links:
This was the one with the beautiful colours and the badass 4 SkaarjÜberLords for the final fight. If I remember correctly I had only one complaint about it (or actually 4 ).
Anyway, always nice to see something "new" being developed and by the looks of it I'll probably love the visuals.
I wonder where this leaves the compilation release of the speedmapping contest entries, which I have to admit that I haven't really found time to work on... maybe we should all just release our entries separately (or, at least, those of us who want to)?

Works for me. VVV doesn't need much work.

This was originally being revised for the compilation, but there hasn't been to much talk about it lately so I decided for a separate release the way I intended the map to be. So far there are 2 new areas to explore and I might add a 3rd, the gameplay also has been changed and improved. I would say the first map is about 90% done.

And I guess this would be my cue to make a TLF Final thread for the inevitable standalone release? I'm fine with whatever though
I think you should. qtit's moving forwards with Dragonfly as a standalone project, after all. Maybe we could combine the 6-hour mini-maps into a compilation pack and let the others come out separately?

Probably the only decent way now. It's been taking too long and this at least guarantees that some (or all) maps will be released (in their polished version).
Just an update. Arch is pretty much done, just a few more details to add. Just working on gameplay and fixing and testing things. Gameplay got a huge overhaul and turned out the way I intended, but didn't have time for. Also there are 2 new areas to explore, should be done with this map in about 2 weeks and then I'll start the second one. Next update will have new pics.
Looking forward to this, Sarevok! I've always admired your work since The Odyssey, minus the second half of the third map. No giant water zones with sharks and quick endings without explanations this time, please!

lol What?! That water zone was the best part! The Odyssey was suppose to have a sequel that explained everything, but I can't even remember the story anymore I'm actually trying to tie these maps into the Broken Alliance story somehow, it's not quite working out though.
