Synopsis:
The Skaarj invasion of Earth has begun! Their massive starship waits in orbit above the city of New-Briton. Armed with your trusty Automag and a f**king Mini-Nuke it's up to you to send them packing.
Features:
Previously Amnesiac, this will be a large single map hopefully similar in length to the vale map. After being very pleased with peoples feedback on The Vale: Evelyn, I've decided to continue my work on my city map. Geometry is being overhauled to get the node count down, and all lighting being revised using everything I learnt making the vale map.

Looks good.
But the idea isn't all that original, I've seen something like that and also an unreleased project which seemed to be simmilar, some years ago.

I don't entirely agree. Speaking as somebody who has attempted urban maps himself, I am well aware of how quickly the poly count mounts. UE1 has limits in this respect and I think fashahhh is doing a good job of making it look interesting whilst keeping the poly count as low as possible. Kinda like a better-looking Deus Ex by day...
Also the environment looks like it will be pretty dynamic.

Life is what you make of it.
ya the design and concept is good even in the matter of visuals, but I hope it'll be polished up later, speaking of textures, lighting, the meshes (these bushes should really be replaced..), other than that I like it so far, it's something new besides many "you're alone and stranded on na pali, get your ass away from there to save your life.." themes
It surprises me a bit how many people seem unfamiliar with this project, even though it's been around for ages. I guess it shows how few people have actually read the main site in any detail!
