Been a long time since I've been around, so hope everyone is well. Just got a new computer and installed UT with the Unreal Anthology CD and updated all drivers, etc to the latest versions. I also copied over all Unreal music to the .umx folder when I installed oldskool. I believe it was after that the title screen UT flyby music starts playing on all maps at the start. I seem to remember this happening before and there being a quick fix.
Anyone remember what it is?

Maybe you need to go to Options-> OldSkool Configuration -> Music , and tweak those settings

Thanks! That did it. The option to "force music" was on. Just had to turn it off.

I more wonder why UT99 title music plays on maps without set music track by default. This OldSkool option is like a godsend.

Usually anytime you open up a menu while playing, if no music was playing before that pops up.

Yeah, but I want to know why does this happen from a technical perspective and it bothers me, why people at Epic made this that way.

Oldskool author here; it's just a bug in one of the versions of the mod. Some default got flipped - and not obvious to the developer (me) because I didn't have a release process where I reinstalled it from scratch.
