Actually, Jones is also the protagonist of Ortican? Hence the Ortican Retrieval Mission translator message at the beginning of Xidia?

Ah, good catch. I think that was originally intended as an easter egg since Hourences released Ortican right before Xidia, but one can speculate. I don't remember if the protagonist for Ortican even had a name.

I played Ortician weekend; I recall no names. He's Jones to me, though.

EDIT: wait, I was just reading through something Crowley was writing about Jones (presumably) on the red nemesis site and he said "you hear me Jim?". Is that his real name?
