Acid Hybrid

Okay, running thru the cave, get a message saying Acid Hybrid is ahead, drop into a hole, jump about the BOOM! Big Slith explodes outta the ground and... CRASH! Music something or other failed

Had to Ghost past AH to finish the mod

The stench of cheating is upon me
Why is this happening ?!?

What is the exact error? Can you post what it says?

Also, what patch are you running on UT? 436?

I'm running 451. The gist of the error seems to be that it fails loading the game music. I'll boot up UT in a sec and get a screenie...

EDIT: Wierd... Won't work now... Maybe because I ghosted over to the area... Ill keep trying until it happens again...

I should mention two things;

1) You are running an obsolete version of Xidia, which is the original release. Some months after our initial release, we released "Xidia Gold", which contains some significant improvements as well as an encore alternate game that doubles the map load (there's also a patch). In the newer Xidia Gold version, the Acid Hybrid no longer exists, and is replaced with something else.

2) All packs I've worked on (Xidias, 7B, ect) were made and tested on the 436 patch. I can't vouch for 451 and how it might react with some packs. As long as you're running UT though, and have properly set all Xidia files to their directories...the pack should run.

Probably is caused by 451... Screwed up my Ued as well, makes sense it'd screw everything else, lol. I'll try find Gold. Also, do you know where I can find 7 bullets? I can't find any links, at the filefront file doesn't exist...

EDIT: Bug was caused by 451. a HEAP of stuff that kept crashing before, like Dark magic, just about any non-nUnreal Tournament practice session, etc. Now works since I downgraded... Man 451 sux
