Very good podcast! :) :tup: But I think it would be better to mix the interviews with one or two songs between them to have more alternation. I have to admit, I skipped the last four tracks because I was too exited for the interviews...

Cool stuff. Perhaps we could mix it better next time? The live voices were much quieter than everything else.
Current Project: None. WTFs2 had to go to sleep, RIP.

I still sometimes sculpt PS2-style terrain by hand with Blender 3. Some passions always linger.

Quality: CBR - 320 kbps
Size: 195 MB

OK, so there's music in there but quality 192 kpbs should be suffcient. And interviews = voice: 64 kbps should be enough.

The point I am trying to make (the bitrates I mentioned are just an indication) is that it's quite a big download (25% of my average daily quotum).

Yeah I apologize for the size, I have a habit of making everything in 320. I was rushing as well as my time is shortened...but if I can find more time later on, I'll make a lower quality version and upload it, unless someone would take the liberty in doing that themselves?

That would add more variation to the show.

I actually listened to all of the songs as well. I don't know much about this sort of music,
but compared to other music in the genre, this wasn't bad at all. Reminded me of... Unreal :D
I personally prefer metal, but I accept your style. It fits the original Unreal athmosphere perfectly, after all. :wink:

I don't want the developers to feel pushed to release by the end of the year, for exemple.
Although, I really look forward to play all of these games, I want you to take all the time you need.
You don't need to be perfectionists, but don't release an unfinished product!

I enjoyed this - it was interesting to hear about the direction of the upcoming projects from the creators themselves in a question and answer environment. I also thought it was well done in terms of its organization, formality, and content. I don't know if it's your intention to charge for the music or not, but in the latter case I've got a suggestion: Perhaps with each podcast release you could put some separate links for listeners to download the featured music directly. I know I'd be interested in that flycastle remix as well as the song that started about 7 minutes in.

Wow, thanx for the comments, I'm glad you guys liked it.

And yeah, me and Peanuts both agreed that for the next podcast, we'll have songs between interviews like Editor Dave suggests :wink: I think it's a good idea too :P

As for the songs GP asks about, a lot of the songs played were unfinished or works in progress, however there is a link to 1 of the songs above in the first post which is Lacrymosa's song titled Astronomical Mindf*ck. The Flyby Castle remix I'm going to be releasing on my fourth album, though I'm giving it to all Unreal players for free 8) Just PM me with your email address and I'll send it your way :wink:
