Hi there USP,

I just wanted to give you a heads-up about the fact that I'm going to change my nickname/general appearance on USP soon. Due to certain gender-mistaking issues I have faced with my regular nickname and avatar, I have made the decision to change and consolidate my online identity across the internet. While I've performed the change on most sites, I have been reluctant to do so on USP due to my role as webmaster, but seeing as my name is gold and bold, I don't think the potential for confusion will be as big after all!

I'll be changing my nickname to ividyon soon, so make sure not to panic with the thought that yet another evil overlord has taken over USP! It's still the same old me, only with less feminine naming and less maids.

As a name, that's slightly more masculine, yeah. the i & y are typically used in feminine names here in 'Murrika, but V is almost solely masculine, with a few exceptions like Victoria.

The funny thing is that apart from Victor and Vincent, I can't think of any English names for boys that I would call "common".... (Val, Vernon, Virgil, Vladimir, etc are not that common.)

Well, I derived the nickname from that fact that my name is Ivan and my last name starts with Vid, so it IS grounded in a masculine name.

Yes, I'm German/Russian, after all. That's what my mother calls me.
