Synopsis: Several years have passed since the weakening of Skaarj dominion over Na Pali. The lands remain restless. You are a survivor of a ship long crashed. You've traveled long roads yet the path you tread remains the same: ruthless, unforgiving, yet beautiful.

A day has passed since an attempt to raid a Skaarj supply depot went awry. Hungry and tired, you approach an inn with a Nali proprietor to pass the two suns. Before you landed on a natively-tailored bed, your eyes pass your translator's interpretation of the inn's house rules: "Take care of the furniture." You escape quickly into the world of dreams only soon to be interrupted by the chirps and squeals of native wildlife. It's time to set out again.

Features:
-Off-beat storyline. (whatever that means!)
-Episodic content releases. More maps, to be released individually, coming soon.
-OddsOfAppearing-oriented gameplay. Never see a barnacle tentacle in the same place twice!

i stopped mapping for Unreal a while ago, so I feel ashamed to criticize your release. maybe that's just screenshots gamma and my monitor, but colors look washed-out for me. i'd like to see moar contrast, especially on the 3rd screenshot with the hole to the open sky - it could cast beautiful light patches and could be generally brighter near the opening.

the geometry is just crazy though!

That was a fun (if not particularly challenging) romp through some truly spectacular scenery. Particularly loved the canyon with the aqueducts and the temple sections that followed. It's hard to tell where the story is going for now, but I got a chuckle or two out of it so far :o Looking forward to see what's coming!

Love when people come out of nowhere with a release, especially mappers of Cathage quality.

I'd much rather play one map, wait a month and play another, then wait 2 years (cough) for a release.

EDIT -

Getting the following error:

"Procedure entry point ?appFloor@@YAHM@z could not be located in the dynamic link library Core.dll"

Doesn't seem to like my UGold version either...anyone know a fix?

I think it requires the U227 patch, judging by the use of StaticMeshes and emitters

The readme says it at the very top but you've got to look for it. Yes, 227. Perhaps the thread can be modified slightly to reflect the platform preference as the topic title and post do not yet reflect this.
