Greets. I'm trying to make a neat little weapon for my personal use (those overpowered sniper rifles that you see all over in UT servers). I've got the model I want, only the first person model just won't face the right way (with the barrel pointing forward.)

Picture below illustrating this.

Have tried messing around with the playerviewoffset to no avail. How do I fix this?

Is the model itself rotated correctly on import? Does the bDirectional arrow face toward the barrel or away from it?

I think he fixed this already...told him to import it into 227 and use the mesh properties to rotate it there, then export and re-import into UT.

Oh, crap! Forgot I made this thread. Waff, it turns out the model was being made to face the opposite way on import. I resolved the problem by turning it in 227 UEd, though was curious to see if there was some way to turn the model through a weapon's code (the directives that load the model and its animations). Thanks, everybody. :)

Unreal 227 -> editor -> mesh viewer -> export to 3d -> UT -> import with yaw = 180.
