The reason I have stopped routinely putting links to internal pages on the news posts is because, when using the forum to generate the news on the main site, all links open by default in a new window. I don't want that to happen as UnrealSP.Org's own pages should open within the existing frames which include the menu on the left.

In any event, news posts like this remind people to visit the main site from time to time, which can only be a good thing. The forum representation of the news is really secondary to the main page and is provided primarily for the purposes of posting comments on news articles.

Users seeing the news for the first time on the forums need only click on the UnrealSP.Org logo at the top of the page to navigate to the main site.
