I've been into UED 2.0 for years. can i be part of a team, creating a mod or something? I'm good at making maps, static meshes, textures, (with photoshop) and i can do cinematics (ingame, with interpol points). I mostly enjoy building medieval, baroque or victorian themed stuff, indoor or outdoor (i enjoy thievery, but it looks like no one's playing that anymore ). And no, i never released any maps, but here are some samples:

sorry if this sounded needy, but i'd really like to be a part of a mod team for unreal or UT99. i'm a fine arts uni student btw, so i could also help out with any game art (logos, icons, manuals, interface art etc). thanks guys

We can use another mapper, as I haven't heard from one of them in over a month. PM me if you're interested.

With mapping skills like that, I'm sure you can join any mod team in a heartbeat! I'm actually having a hard time believing that this is UED 2.0, but this looks very legit 8)

I really really like the suburban home. Is all of that your own texture work? It seems like the textures and architecture are precisely made to fit with each other.

emm no, about half of the textures i got from thief 2 and thievery , max payne 1, or just google. the other half i made with my 10pix camera and photoshop (the HDTV, laptop, curtains, sofa, cabinet etc)

I did most of the static meshes, except for the ones that came with Thievery (eg everything in the castle dining room)

Thought I recognized some Max Payne stuff. That game was badass at the time.

I really love how natural the light looks in the suburban home map, pretty amazing!

Your mapping looks nice, but the quality of it is in the restraint. I know a lot of good mappers who could never take to realistic/contemporary mapping. I can see from the brushwork that you can. Some of these shots are more medieval, but the same logic applies.

I'm always on the lookout for mappers. In the kind of SP stuff I work on this kind of level design is not the kind of places I take my players to. But if I may make a suggestion? When I saw your pics I immediately had flashbacks to working on Raccoon City back when I was part of Resident Unreal all those years ago. I would try to contact Jackrabbit (either through USP or Oldunreal) as I know he is working on a zombie themed project and I can see this style working well for what he's doing.
