Nah, you'll be an expert on static electricity after reading all the translator messages in that map.

FRESH BLOOD!

New recruits have arrived!

I would like to welcome the following people on board:

- Shadow and gopostal as coders.
- Myth as a music engineer and a mapper for the Citadel of Ice portion of the game.
- GenMoKai as a weapon modeller.

Thanks, people! Remember, we need MORE - ShamuQuest needs YOU! :)

Another contribution, another recruit.

Shadow has provided UT SDK for the project.
Creavion joined up as a mapper and is tasked with the Eastern Swamp.

Thanks, everyone. This project is slowly progressing!

I'm sure Delacroix will post this in the OP, but thought I'd throw it here for now.

I hope you don't show every area you build. If you do so please don't spoil everything. We all want to explore the buildings on our own

True, last week I was already getting the feeling that we were being shown a bit too much.

Good points....but don't worry, there are several areas of the maps that aren't included. And some of the ones that are shown have been changed so much they don't look the same now anyway.

Besides, it'll be like max 10 screens per map (flyby was the exception), which will give you only a short demo of what to expect, remember that we're dealing huge maps here... :P

Personally, I don't think enough has been shown to be able to call this a direct add-on to the existing maps by Chicoverde. Where are the massive terrain brushes that we know defines Chico's mapping style? I see more confined areas that don't really give a grandiose feeling. I was under the impression you guys were trying to mimic his work with this project. To me, it looks more like a Jones Saga addon than anything...

Yeesh! I guess that's what I get for holding back on showing all the big open places of RD.

Jack has a point though. For this to really have the credibility of being a part of Shamu, I think fans of Chico's work are going to want to see some sprawling terrain shots.
