I encountered a map from the beta version of Unreal 1 that I think should of made it into the final version. Does anyone know about this map and can some one remake/finalize it. Here are some Screenshots: (Note: this is a Deathmatch map.)

UnrealEd for any kind of Unreal alpha or beta will not work under Win7 for most hardware configs. Use WinXP.

Division Bonus Pack for Unreal, contains the finalized Splash

Wierd, The computer I was using had (and I was using at the time) Windows 7 and it (Beta UnrealEd) worked just fine.

You're just being lucky. As are numerous other people. On MOST configs, UnrealEd for the 97 and 98 beta builds will shit itself.

UED beta doesn't work on win7 until you merge some registry key or run unreal. I can't remember which as it's working right now, and I don't plan to reinstall windows any time soon

I fired it up not too long ago and it works on my machine. Windows 7 64 bit too.

Probably something to do with Visual Basic. I think Microsoft took some (maybe all) of the VB runtime files out of Windows 7. Find a version of it online and install it.
