Recently, a friend of mine, DeseRt, found this dark ambient album by a black metal artist, Burzum. He believes, and I agree, that this music is very fitting for certain Unreal levels, especially the Unreal95-97 alpha stuff. What do you guys think?

He was in jail at the time wasn't he? He probably wouldn't have had access to unreal. Although I admit that even after only <30seconds of listening it does remind me of the unreal alpha tunes somewhat. I have to wonder if it's only because you brought it up and I'm automatically reading too far into it now

I doubt it was inspired by Unreal. I could only see the music working for the tech demo levels; that wasn't exactly well known back then, was it?
