I see no problem with gameplay at all, just because you whoosies have no patience or talent, leave this pack to the real players.

some very cool maps, this one has a good variety of places and areas, 8 out of 10.

It would take too long. The ONLY thing I dislike about Unreality is the long cave walking and swimming, everything else is grade A. IMO

Unreality sucks ass! And it's a good test for understanding people's knowledge on good gameplay design, definitely.

Maybe if you check I edited the post right before your post
And frankly that post was nice and all, probably nicer and less dumb than "no talent of patience" or whatever that means

That's always the norm. Good maps usually just get a bunch of "this map is good!" posts. Really bad maps tend to get few replies because no one's played them. Controversial maps bring out the interesting discussions. That said, there's no reason for insults, guys. Keep it civil. We're arguing about video games, here. It's not worth being an asshole about it.

Redeye: record just this level, then, or part of it. Until you produce proof that you can beat it without cheating or quickloading constantly, I'm not going to believe you (and no one else is!) :)

I didn't say I don't die, but I also didn't get tired, to the contrary, I got more involved in-game, along with checking out all the new mappage.
I always play every game on "normal" considering the factory or authors deemed it as the most normal so they could put the game out the way they wanted it to be played.
Moving to ,easy, might mess up some of the games features, going above normal for a first run might be too big a burden than fun.

Well I played this on normal difficulty, and it was not too hard, and if I played it again it would be even easier.


I see absolutely no reason to complain about this pack or it's gameplay, none, zero ,zip, nothing.

What is it with this big crybaby deal about "bots" in any map, it's all good IMO.AND the maps where also good that took a lot of work and look better or as good as the best maps around.Then for people to come along and trash the whole friggen pack all because they can't handle a few video game enemies is unfair, and completely without logic.


And, on top of that, you guys and I, have played much more harder games, than this pack, also adding to such illogical conclusions.

Like I said, no patience, I die alot in many games, playing MOH Airborne, ever try parachuting into "the Factory" ?, as hard or ten times harder than Unreality.

Sorry to burst the bubble, but bots was only of of the problems mentioned (I recall the word Warlord being used a couple of times). And FYI, it's not the bots as such which cause the problem: it the friggin' number of bots which appear simultaneously.

And BTW I can't handle Xidia on Hard (yet), and certainly not on Unreal but does that give Xidia bad gameplay? NO! Why? Because there are 2 difficulty settings which I can handle and are still challenging. In other words Xidia offers a learning curve.

Thanks god there's one shitty Unreality map left to be discussed in MOTW, which is the last one against a legion of Rocket Launcher bots and Skeletor with the Instagib SR.

Bots suck in SP, who says otherwise (i.e. our expert Redeye) then he's lying and never managed to beat Unreality without God mode :)

I found unreality fun, but only because i'm someone who can appreciate something on a "so bad it's good" level. I just cheated whenever necessary. That included ghosting around, going god every now and then, summoning more ammo/weapons etc, and generally just having a good time rofling at the completely BS gameplay balance and the wtf factor.

The mapping is good, the gameplay is terrible.

Record yourself while playing, uh, this map (Medium difficulty is enough). Without cheats of course. A screenshot doesn't prove much because Oldskool has no score penalty for killing monsters in Fly mode (which is not the case for ONP, Xenome, Xidia and 7B).

Then I'll believe you.

Even if someone can beat it without one single cheat, nothing changes the fact that Unreality's gameplay is so terribad that even Hell rejects it.
