Synopsis: Well, it will be surprise. The one thing which I can tell, is that storyline will have place at Na Pali planet, in middle of Human/Skaarj war. It will have place 50 years after events of Return To Na Pali official expansion pack.
Features:
- storyline taking inspirations in Unreal II, movies: Jarhead, Stargate,
Black Hawk Down and Avatar.
- 20+ new levels set in original Unreal and Return to Na Pali style.
- new scripted pawns, weapons, vehicles (based on .:..: /Dots\' work)
- new types of missions, some based on well known Assault maps, such as
Convoy or HiSpeed,
- static meshes, emiters, projectors, weather effects and flora, all made
possible by 227 engine thanks to OldUnreal
- 2-3 cutscenes.

Synopsis: A bounty hunter hired by Inuit Corporation is sent to Na Pali to find the wreck of the Vortex Rikers and recover several experimental military AI implants as well as apprehend any prisoners that might still be alive. This leads to the opening of a true Pandora\'s Box when it\'s revealed that the dreaded Skaarj aren\'t the only enemies around.

- A new weapon allowing the player to take control over certain enemies
- Storyline related to the official Unreal novels
- New deadly enemies: in-your-head AI opponents, a hostile Nali sect, a remnant of an ancient civilization and more...

Important Notice: This is a rework/remake of a cancelled PlayStation port of Unreal initially developed by Pterodactyl Software, Ltd. Leo(T.C.K.) has recovered almost complete set of maps and is currently bringing them on par with current Unreal versions as well as filling in the blanks with the help of other talented and devoted individuals. What is even stranger is that they built their civilization inside a volcano. Who were these strange beings? What happened to their civilization? Your mission is to locate a particular stone tablet which will prove helpful for deciphering the ancient texts previously discovered as well as any texts yet to be found.
Features: One map, some custom scripts and a whole lot of awesome.

Return to Na Pali The Fifth Vortex - Ehactora\'s Story Posted by: Doublez-Down

Synopsis: It is approximately 25 years since the events of Return to Na Pali. The Skaarj are much fewer in number, with only a few pockets here and there. The cause of their demise, while certainly contributed to by Prisoner 849, is still mostly unknown. Recently however, there has been a small but sudden spike in their population.
Since the events of Return to Na Pali, and the subsequent decline of Skaarj presence on the planet itself, Na Pali has become the target of smugglers and raiders looking to loot any remaining Nali ruins or temples. While the famous temples of Vandora and Velora, along with the chambers of Chizra, have all been desecrated, there are still many left. The Nali had many other gods and goddesses of worship, including “Ehactora”, the Nali Wind God.

Ehactora is believed to be the cause of “all movement in the universe” and is rumored to have spawned the likeness of Vandora (goddess of Lightning) and Chizra (Nali Water God). There is evidence of a sacred place of power and worship to Ehactora, known only as The Fifth Vortex. It is rumored that by rotating Ehactora’s huge sundials, The Fifth Vortex will be activated, unleashing an immense, powerful vortex which will allow instant movement to other sacred locations on the planet. Your mission is to make your way through Ehactora’s passage, explore his temple and collect any artifacts along the way to the massive ruins in which the sundials rest. Find a way to activate the sundials, thus unleashing the Fifth Vortex.

You are Lieutenant Lazurus Stevens, a former Marine officer on the UMS “Poseidon”. Your pilot and first mate, MSGT O’Neal has been your trusted friend since you both left the service. Since then, you both have joined the ranks of the many smugglers and traders. That said, you have no love for the Skaarj, and activating and controlling The Fifth Vortex should only help in further eliminating them.

While the Skaarj numbers are much fewer than they were during Prisoner 849’s romp across the planet, there are still areas of resistance, along with rogue Skaarj here and there. The planet is still inhabited by dangerous wildlife, and the Fifth Vortex itself has a particularly high concentration of life forms around it. The Nali still inhabit the planet, and have actually rebounded quite nicely with the Skaarj demise.

Features: 4-5 Medium to Large Maps, may add some smaller cutscene maps as well in order to enhance the story along.

Latest News: 2 maps roughly 60% complete. RTNP/UGOLD for now - will likely make it compatible across all platforms once I get other packages to work properly. Pleased to announce that Teridax and BeWilderbeest have agreed to come on board and do some mappage as well.

Evil Blue Dude agreed to map the Black Swamp area, after his USP Anniversary Contest project is done. Dozey is mapping out the Caverns of Dralgir Nor, another new level.
Features: All of the six original ShamuQuest maps updated and bug-fixed, along with cinematics and sixteen new levels to finish the saga and fill in the gaps.

Synopsis: You barely made it out of there... at least you caused them a nice ruckus! Unfortunately, on your trip home, your escape pod crashes inside of what it seems to be a temple. It is time, once again, to find a way to continue your voyage home.
Features: 8 different environments in the same map distributed along a hub (the temple). Combat will only consist of animals, that\'s it, no intelligent/advanced opposition such as skaarj, krall, brutes or mercs.

Synopsis: Continued from WTF Series 1, you must continue your journey in finding the last team member, Fetel, and a way to contact your team aboard the USS Shiva. As easy as that may sound, the Skaarj aren\'t your only enemy this time...
Features: 8 maps total, 2 cinematic and 6 playable. New weapons include a few U4E weapons, as well as flamethrower by Cheese and I. There will be newly scripted AI, light actors, and triggers. Also, new music and sounds. The voice acting and dialogue has been cut unfortunately. Will also be Co-op Compatible.

Synopsis: Finding yourself awoken on the bottom of a tomb, dark halls surround you as you are greeted by a single Nali. Can you find out the reasons to your situation?

Features: The map pack will contain at least three maps, the first of which is already finished. The second level is about 60% finished, and the third level is still in it\'s beginning stages of development. A key feature of the map pack will be the Nali and their magic, it\'s origins and their background, which I personally felt holds great potential, but was never really explored. Unreal 227 only.

Latest News: I\'ve switched from the UT engine to Unreal 227 for performance reasons and increased capabilities of 227.

Synopsis: After spending 90 days in a cell without doors (put there by an unknown source, for reasons that are never explained to you), you are suddenly forced to enter a labyrinth with other people who are in the same situation as you, and you soon discover that all of you are expected to kill each other until only one is left standing.
Features: Dead Cell features an early version of Nemesis Core (used to power Residual Decay) and features unconventional gameplay for the typical Unreal map, including such things as melee combat and non-linear gameplay.

Situation: This is Colonel Schultz, LabSec. Right around the time our investment invitation was published online and distributed to potential investors, we lost contact with the RichterLabs AI research and teleportation experimental platform. We are preparing to dispatch a scout to the site for initial survey of the problem.
Details: We are unable to determine the cause of the communications interruption, but will be sending one rookie through an experimental teleporter. Dr. Julian tells me that this should, theoretically at least, allow us to get someone on the ground in just under a second. However, she tells me we only have enough power to send a few soldiers through the teleporter, so we are deploying just one for the initial sweep. Marine dropships followed by engineer teams will be en route following the scout, but obviously will take much longer to arrive. All soldiers: stand by for further details from LabSec. We absolutely must ensure that whatever is happening over there gets taken care of quickly; we don\'t want to lose any sponsorship over something stupid.
Latest Developments: - 1650 UST: Invitational message published. Contact with installation lost. Camera signals cut out. Invitation is corrupted.
- 1700: Unable to remotely access the webserver and take down the garbled invitation.
- 1705: Chief of Security dispatches emergency bulletin to all off-site security teams.
- 1720: Colonel Schultz orders dropships to prepare marine teams for deployment.
- 1732: More data corruption visible on the invitation.
- 1745: One scout is sent to the base via experimental teleporter using RichterLabs auxiliary matter transference platform.
- 1800: Awaiting confirmation of arrival from scout. Marine dropships en route. ETA: 6 hours.
- 1840: Still no confirmation from scout. Possibly due to whatever is causing the communications blackout. Additional typographical errors detected in the invitation that were not present in the original message, such as \'philantrhopy.\'
- 1935: More text artifacts detected, this time a large amount of unknown characters. Still no word from the scout; satellite images of the facility do not show anything out of the ordinary, though no one is visible on the landing pad or elsewhere. Network connectivity still established with facility, but technicians are unable to remote into any of its systems. Auxiliary platform has detected unusually large amounts of network traffic originating from the main facility.
- 2355: Contact lost with marine dropships. Possibility of EM field disrupting communications.
- 2359: Contact lost with off-site military installation 600km to the North. Communications outage appears to be spreading. Substantial text artifacting visible.
Intel: The original invitation bulletin appears to have some bizarre technical errors in it. We are uncertain what may have caused this, but are assuming it is related to the communications blackout. The invitation is still visible - here - indicating the base\'s servers are still operational. The invitation message has become progressively more garbled over the past few hours. Possibility of catastrophic reactor failure ruled out.

Unreal Tournament Project: Insecurity Posted by: Fulsam

Synopsis: An Inuit science research vessel named the ISV Phantom has dropped out of contact. According to recent logs, the ship was going down near Na Pali, so it can be assumed that the ship came to a rest somewhere on the planet.

There is a problem here, though. The Phantom was delivering some experimental, but deadly weapons to a UMS outpost. If the Skaarj got a hold of these weapons, they could be a huge threat.

You will be deployed to the surface of Na Pali, but finding the Phantom is up to you. You must navigate through both revisited and new locations, all full of Skaarj.

Once you locate the ship, you must navigate to the engine room, disabling fail saves and coolant pumps along the way, and cause the Phantom\'s reactor to melt down, which will obliterate anything within a 2 mile radius.

Once you sabotage the reactor, you must escape the ship before the blast occurs.

Features: A return to Unreal locations we all know and love, now twisted by Skaarj development. Around 12 levels and possibly some new music

Unreal Tournament Residual Decay Posted by: Mister_Prophet

Synopsis: Mauled in a duel with the Scarred One, Jones is left for dead on the polluted soil of what used to be Noork’s Elbow. Paralyzed and blinded by his injuries, all he can do is stare up at the exhaust scorched Na Pali sky. Waiting for the inevitable. So wounded is he, that he cannot even lift his hands to eject seven rounds from his nearest cartridge. In that moment, the only thing in the universe that matters to a dying marine is a soldier\'s final superstitions and the hope of passing through to the other side clean. Jones never thought that he would hope for anything. But there...in those last moments...a dying marine reflects on a life given to the service. And he prays for the first time since he was a child. Not so that he may live. No. He prays that his duty will be fullfilled. That this wasn\'t another Xidia. That something good was done here...on this diseased asshole of deep space. Yes, he thinks to himself. That would be enough.

So he waits. And as the darkness takes him, he swears that he hears a voice.

But what should have probably happened to him a dozen times over in the past is evaded once again. The darkness is pushed back and a spotlight hovers over him. The last thing he hears before he loses consciousness is the sound of many footfalls rushing towards him. And the last rational thought he has...is that those footfalls sound awfully similar to USM standard issue combat boots.

Rushed back to the USM-Ice Raven, the best division sponsored money can afford brings Jones back from the brink. Calcium therapy replenishes shattered bones, tissue loss, and even restores his pulverized vertebrae. Severed nerves are repaired by cloned cellular injections. An eye is amputated and replaced with state of the art optical mechanics. The military spares no expense to preserve their heroes, especially those that are so vital to the recruiting sector. They even augment his physical abilities farther than necessary. Waiver approved, of course.

So a marine wakes up. And realizes that he left most of himself behind.

Something changes. He is not grateful. No, this is disappointment. Why him, he wonders? Good men like Crowley go to their deaths and he is the one who makes it. Time and time again. If he was a different kind of man, he might be tempted to pull that safety back on his sidearm and paint the walls of his bunk with the color of his thoughts. But no. This marine always preferred the gaunlet over the tender mercies. So he kills himself the slow way, like always. Jones splashes his artificial liver with fresh alcohol and gazes past the scarred reflection on his cabin window…into the vastness of cold space. Living to fight another day.

But something happens. Someone or something intervenes. When Jones wakes from a drunken slumber and finds himself alone and isolated on the Ice Raven, he discovers that there is some omnipotent force controlling the vessel. This force has a voice. A very familiar voice. And this voice wants something from Jones.

This is a damaged soldier’s final chance to redeem himself.

This is Residual Decay.

Firstly it was meant to be an UnrealSP.org 8th anniversary map, but it became too big and massive. Like everything I do. So, that\'s why I decided to make it a seperate mappack.
ISV-Dragonfly is a single player modification for Unreal Tournament 436 with Oldskool addon. The story is set in Unreal world several years after the Na Pali incidents. Skaarj haven\'t been seen from that time and human kind became quite sure this threat is headed off.
Your name is Dell Reaves, you work as Liandri Corporation miner on Space Vessel Dragonfly. You and your mining team search for Tyradium on freely drifting asteroids on different planets\' orbits... Six months\' cruise can be quite hard when one is locked on less than 200 square meters of flying old can. Every day is exactly the same... Or is it?

Synopsis: Will be revealed later.
Features: The Chosen One is an FPS, RPG elements are included (with a major influence to the gameplay), but still it\'s FPS. Experience points are given mostly for completing quests (primary & secondary), their amount depends on the importance of the quest completed. Also, experience is increased for eliminating enemies. This also depends on the adversary\'s rank - the amount of experience points granted for the kills is very small in comparison to quest awards - it helps, when the player needs little experience to gain a level.

Synopsis: This is a singleplayer modification for Unreal Tournament \'99 with a sidescroller-type view of game world. The game will take part in polar regions of Na Pali after Unreal and Unreal:Return to Na Pali events.
Features: Mod will feature 10 playable maps.
