The second map of Déjà Vu's difficulty depends in your dodging skills, as you have to avoid tons of projectiles in seconds. But incredibly this map is still easy, you can just use DP the whole time except for some cases that I'll say below.
Start to run until you see the first entrance to the village. The sign has the following very useful message for those that don't read the level's name at the start...
"Town of E'Nara"
There's a NHP and two barrels containing a Stinger ammo and a ShellBox. Stay with your DP equipped. Now enter the path and wait for a patrolling Krall Elite (don't go to the turn now). As the Krall Elite passed the turn, start by pummelling him with DP shots. As any Krall Elites, this one dodge, making you waste DP shots and so time. Tip? After they dodge, immediately charge (not at max) a DP 2nd fire to him for additional damage. All of his bolts can be avoided by strafing and going slowly backwards (don't retreat kilometres far or the Krall Elite will say "u sUck" to you and avoid everything). This strategy works for any Krall as always. After his death pass the first turn and look up at the first arch: over it there's a Skaarj Warrior ready for an ambush. If it still unaware of you but you see its eyes, charge a DP shot to it and retreat a little in order to make it fall down. A chase again. DP works good here. If it dodges, shoot in the position in which it terminate the movement. Or you can run up to it, make it melee attack, retreat again, standing another time next to it for the melee, escape etc... all while shooting. Just don't lure it in places which you haven't explored. If there are problems use Automag (try to not waste many bullets though). Anyway there's a lot of health in this map, and you still have the Super Health strength of the previous map.
After you kill the Skaarj Warrior, it's time to enter the main part of the village. The situation is this: eight Krall are patrolling the streets, and they all pass near your position. Just wait them here (should be fast anyway) and pummel them with DP in the same way as you did for the Krall Elite. Well you have to avoid more bolts, but strafing will make you leet. Jumping is also good. One thing though... DON'T WASTE AUTOMAG OR STINGER MKAY?!?! :) Be sure to be fast at killing them one by one. You don't want 8 losers killing you right?
After this massacre, it's time to explore. Firstly check out what's behind that big rock at your right, near the fence. It hides a Seed, a Stinger and a Male2Carcass with a message:
"Matteson, Log: "E'Nara is a haven", they said. All I can find is a troupe of Krall patrolling the streets, and not a live Nali in sight. Damn this place."
Maybe he didn't understand that E'Nara is an haven and NOT an heaven. Anyway don't fall down the pit (killing water again) and go for the fountain of the city. Near its first entrance there are two barrels containing a Stinger Ammo and a ShellBox. The left and right arches of the fountain area have two Tentacles. DP and strafing (cover too, just don't let be shot by two of them simultaneously) are your friend against them, always. Remember that all the Tentacles in this map has 100 Health instead of 50. Now go for the left side of this town. You should spot two houses. Enter the first one. Inside you'll find an Health Pack, three boxes containing two Stinger Ammo and a Clip, an Armor and a message. Read the message first, then get the Armor. I'll explain soon why.
"Shi'Maras Journal:Day 789: Our once peaceful town of E'Nara has been invaded by demons, I must go to our church and pray."
So stupid that you have to pass through "demons" to go to the church. B4d att3mpt...
Anyway get the Armor now. It make actually appears a Skaarj Assassin in the roof of the building in front of the house you're in. Charge your DP: you should see the Skaarj jumping from this roof. Fire your big shot at his position and start to retreat/shooting like you did for the previous Skaarj. Stinger 2nd fire is useful if you have it near you. Strafe around it crazily and let it stop with its melee attacks. I recommend to kill this at all costs, as later in the map you have to confront a group of three enhanced Skaarj that you have to lure them in the main town. Three of them, plus this one and another which will spawn later isn't that really good (although I managed to kill four of them in a row without getting damaged at all. Skills is what you need). After the threat falls, check the next house in this part. It contains a complete waste of time plus some VERY annoying horseflies. I just say don't enter this... move toward. The next side has other two houses. The first one is closed while the second has a dead body and an ASMD in front of the door. Ignore it for now and search for a plant field after it. There are two NHPs in this part. If you touch/pass for the one in the middle, you'll make the second Skaarj Assassin spawns somewhere, clearly near the fountain area which lead to the first house with the Armor you got. Use Automag on it, but don't spend more than 20 bullets. Otherwise, be cool and use DP, or even Stinger.
Now be sure to have the ASMD priority below the Stinger and equip this latter weapon. Go for the ASMD near the house. Once you get it (thanks to the priority settings you still have the Stinger equipped), go backwards IMMEDIATELY. The Skaarj Gunner which broke the door has a Stinger. You should be really far from, so you have better chances to avoid the crystals (your Armor protects you well against them). Fire at it with your Stinger primary fire, in burst mode (I.e. don't shoot always, once a while). It will start to use the shield. Wait two seconds and restart firing carefully at the Skaarj. He should temporarily put the shield off and fire at you, while it is being damaged by your crystals. Repeat this until it dies. If it is following you like mad, secondary fire. It just depends how its AI acts, so save the game before this part. Put it in closed nook is also a good idea, while Automag is also good. Now pick up its Stinger and re-fix your Weap. Priority settings if you want.
Inside its house you'll find two Tentacles at the top, an Health Pack and two boxes with ASMD Cores in them. Open the next door in order to access a second valley. Most of the time you'll find a Skaarj Warrior patrolling here. Use DP as it is pretty stupid (if you aren't more than him though). There are two barrels near the rock toward you. Only one contains something (Stinger Ammo). Go behind this rock to find an ASMD Core (max ammo for the ASMD for now if you haven't used it) and a message by the carcass:
"Ginster, Log: There's a Skaarj just behind this rock! If he doesn't go away soon, I'll starve to death..."
Learning UEd is the best choice :P
Proceed through the path until you find the back of the third, closed house you found in the main village. Going at the extreme right make you find a NHP. Enter the house and equip your ASMD. A good ASMD combo some centimetres over the group of bored Krall should make them upset. Fire other ASMD shots (until you have 40 ammo) and finish them with Stinger/DP fire. They're still losers. Enter the house, pick the ASMD Core and check the message over the green book at your right:
"Miralda of the Flying Fist Clan: My group grow restless. The Skaarj have this town way over-guarded. Half of us have nothing better to do than play dice all day. What do they expect, a human invasion?"
Answer: yes. The first glimpse of a rebellion which you're going to pass soon.
Exit the house and go for the large pathway near the fourth house where you fought the Skaarj Gunner. Near this entrance you may find a NHP at your right. Equip Automag now and proceed to the turn. Pass it and watch on the ledge over the second arch. When you'll see two Skaarj Warriors jumping from here, starting to shoot at them and retreat. They'll come at you plus a Skaarj Assassin. Three Skaarj to beat... argh (the battle that I announced before). The strategy is very simple: retreating by running backward like mad (watch the road you're walking on to see where you are going). You should be fast enough to keep good distance from them. To avoid all the Skaarj Projectiles you need to strafe left and right (still be going backwards). I recommend to save the game before this part. Try to focus on one Skaarj and then to the other ones, so in this case you have two advantages:
1)If the Skaarj is damaged enough he will try to retreat. Less stars to avoid.
2)You killed a threat. Pass to the other ones.
You just need to spend some times causing some mess in the town. After they are dead, recollect any Automag ammo that you left in the map and proceed to the church area. Along the way you'll find a dead body, plus an Automag (don't pick it up yet) and two clips. The body holds a message:
"Miller, Log: This Automag is not enough to keep me safe. There are Skaarj ambushes from everywhere. I'm the last one alive... the others are all dead..."
The next area is guarded by two Mantas. The first one at right side escapes instead of killing you. Use Automag against this one. The other is normally evil and easily killable with DP. Time to break some havoc in the church guys (there's a NHP on the right lamp).
After you enter it, you'll spot at the altar two Skaarj Warriors. Using the same strategies as before, kill them with the Automag. Use the cover here in order to prevail against the evil :)
Go for the altar and read the useless message:
"Always keep the faith, and the Nali people will prevail. For when the time is right, the Gods of the Good Lore will send the new messiah to purge our planet of the Sky Demon scourge once more."
This is why I'm working on a crazy Unreal fan fiction about Na Pali gods and strong entities.
Check now the room at the sides. The left one contains a pool with two Stinger Ammo and two messages. The first one is found on the tablet:
"Pool of cleansing".
The other one of the book:
"Priest's Log: I hide from the Skaarj in the sanctity of my church. They haven't bothered me in here, but I am running short of food. I sense my time here is short."
The room at the right side just has the lever for opening one of the tombs that lead to the exit... along with a message:
"Outer hatch control".
Now you have finished the church quest. Only the rest of the messages to read are missing. They are parts of an EE here, apart from some messages. For other info check the EE part of the walkthrough:
"In memoriam of all our brothers and sisters slain by Skaarj. May their souls now rest with the gods Chizra and Novana."
"Tomb of Un'relspa Organa, former high priest and founder of E'Nara."
"For Micua Wibari, a true and loyal friend."
"Dania Nasaki, ever dedicated and determined."
"For Tia Koha, and his quest for the great Bin'Spa'Par tree."
"To my friend Sareva, who brought me to this town."
"Toma Lidra, the critic."
"Ligna Hunthra, the hard worker."
"Joshui Fiela, who struggled but achieved his goals in the end."
"Matia Eka, we'll meet again."
"Suani Frieda, never short of energy."
"Ebara Mani, the story teller."
"Whila Dreki, the most talented of us all."
"Kevahn Leta, a little insane."
Now exit from the church and go for the way behind it. Along the way you'll find two boxes containing a Clip and a Stinger Ammo. Now equip the Stinger, turn 180° and go for the way you were using, walking backwards. Look at the roof of church and after a certain moment...
Strong Enemy fight: Skaarj Berserker
Health: 320
Difficulty:
Another fight easy as hell. It's just a normal Skaarj Berserker. Pummel him with Stinger's primary fire while running and go near him to trigger his Melee attack. When's he doing this, go for the Stinger's 2nd fire. Retreat, go another time near it, Stinger him again until he's dead. Or you can just running like a mad from him while shooting at him with crystals/DP.
After he's dead, check for a NHP near the mountains of the entrance of the last valley. Go for the opened tombs. Three Pupaes are there. Don't go down to them, as the never ascend the staircase. Pummel them with DP (they have more health here again, 100 I think), proceed and end the level.
